HCSO Detectives Want to ID Armed CVS Robber (2016/08/01)

On July 31, 2016 at 8:27 a.m., a black male entered the CVS located at 11212 Dale Mabry Highway North in Tampa, walked to the counter and chose a Reese`s, then demanded cash from the register.  The clerk attempted to walk away as they were unsure if the suspect was serious, at which time the suspect displayed a black handgun and repeated his demand.  The clerk removed the entire drawer and the suspect took the cash and rolled coins.  The suspect fled on foot westbound down Hudson Lane.  The suspect is described as a black male, medium build, medium complexion, thick goatee and was wearing sunglasses, a baseball cap with "TB", a black t-shirt with "U MAD BRO?" on the front, long dark shorts and white athletic shoes.

HCSO Detectives Search for Suspect Who Stole a F250 (2016/08/01)

On July 28, 2016 at 4:11 a.m., an unknown white male was caught on surveillance video entering a white, 2001 Ford F250 bearing FL tag EZGC02 through an unlocked door while it was parked at 6406 Cameron Avenue North in Tampa.  The suspect was able to locate a spare key which had been left inside the truck to take the vehicle.  The suspect fled south on Cameron Avenue towards North Street.  The suspect is a white male, 20-25 yoa and last seen wearing a light colored t-shirt, shorts, baseball cap and a black/white shoes and was carrying a black & white backpack.

On July 11, 2016 at approximately 12:32 a.m., an unknown male used a cloned credit card to withdraw $200 in cash at the 7-Eleven located at 5125 Cypress Street West in Tampa.  The cloned card was also used at other 7-Eleven stores locally.  The male suspect was captured on store surveillance video.

On July 27, 2016 at 2:15 p.m., an unknown white male entered the Auto Zone located at 7501 Hillsborough Avenue West in Tampa and selected an item for purchase.  As the suspect approached the counter, he quietly told the clerk that he just wanted the money in the register and implied he had a gun in his pocket.  The suspect pulled out a small revolver from his right front pocket and pointed it at the clerk prior to the register being opened.

On July 26, 2016 at approximately 4:25 p.m., an unknown black male walked into the Florida Central Credit Union located at 3333 Henderson Boulevard in Tampa, approached a teller, implied he was armed and threatened to hurt her if she did not give him money from the register.  The suspect put the money into a bag and fled the credit union on foot.  The suspect is described as a black male, 5`08" to 5`10", thin build and was wearing a dark colored hoodie, long dark shorts and white shoes.

On July 25, 2016 at approximately 1:21 a.m., an unknown male entered the 7-Eleven at 4301 Ehrlich Road in Tampa while wearing a black mask.  The suspect pointed a black handgun at the clerk while ordering her to give him the money.  The suspect placed a bag on the counter and the clerk placed the currency in the bag.  The suspect fled the store eastbound.  The suspect was described as a white male, 6` to 6`04", 160-175 lbs., thin build, blue eyes and was wearing purple pants, black shoes and a gray long sleeve shirt.

FHP Troopers Search for Hit and Run Driver (2016/07/26)

On June 23, 2016 at 4:16 p.m., an unknown male was driving a 2003 Suzuki motorcycle eastbound along Highway 92 East in Seffner.  As another driver slowed to make a right turn at 9605 Highway 92 East, the driver of the motorcycle attempted to pass on the right shoulder of the roadway.  The front of the motorcycle collided with the passenger side of a Ford pickup.  The white male driver of the motorcycle fled the scene on foot.  (See photo)

PCSO Deputies Search for Vehicle Burglary Suspects (2016/07/25)

During the early morning hours of July 23, 2016, numerous unlocked vehicles parked along Sky Lake Circle within the Lakes of Northwood Subdivision were broken into.  More cars along Sisal Loop, Stonecreek Way and Windcrest Drive in Seven Oaks were also entered.  Deputies have developed a possible suspect vehicle to be a 2016 Nissan Sentra, 4-door, white in color and was occupied by 3 or 4 Hispanic or black males.

On July 20, 2016 at approximately 1:27 a.m., an unknown black male entered an unlocked 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 pick up truck that was parked at 6529 Nestall Court in Apollo Beach.  The suspect took a black Springfield XDS 45 caliber handgun and 2 magazines containing ammunition.  The black male is described as 15-18 yoa, 5`09" to 5`11", 145-160 lbs., skinny, short black "mushroomed" afro, glasses and wearing a gray hoodie, baggy pants and carrying a backpack.

On July 17, 2016 two unknown Hispanic male suspects in their late teens to early twenties agreed to meet up with two females in West Tampa near Tampania Avenue North in order to purchase a pair of sneakers.  One of the suspects pointed a silver semi-automatic firearm at the victims and demanded their money.  The suspects fled with the cash in a Toyota Prius.  The suspects were captured on video arriving and fleeing the scene.

HCSO Detectives Work to ID Vehicle Burglary Suspects (2016/07/18)

On July 16, 2016 at approximately 3:00 a.m., 4 unknown suspects entered multiple vehicles along Woodbrook Drive in Tampa.  The suspects took various personal property items from the vehicles.  Law enforcement believe the suspects might also be responsible for vehicle burglaries within the Fawn Ridge subdivision.  Two of the suspects were captured on surveillance video and are black males, 16-18 yoa, approximately 5`08" and 140lbs.

HCSO Deputies Search for Chain Thief (2016/07/15)

On July 14, 2016 at approximately 8:19 p.m., a black male inquired about a Cuban link necklace at M/N Jewelers located within the University Mall at 2200 Fowler Avenue East in Tampa.  The suspect jumped the counter and grabbed the necklace from the drawer and fled to an awaiting white, U-Haul GMC pick-up truck.  The suspect fled with the necklace valued at approximately $20,000.  The truck went towards 22nd Street North and then abandoned the vehicle in the area of 132nd Avenue East and 22nd Street North in Tampa.

The black male is described as being approximately 5`07", 180 lbs. and wearing a gray t-shirt, black baseball cap and sunglasses.

On July 10, 2016 at approximately 9:05 p.m., an unknown black male was trying to get the attention of an 18 yoa female who was pumping gas at the Shell Station locaed at 10052 Cross Creek Boulevard in Tampa.  The victim ignored the males attempts to get her attention from an adjacent pump.  The suspect drove past the victim and pointed a black and gold semi-automatic handgun at her and laughed.  The suspect was seen driving a dark colored sedan, possibly a Cadillac DeVille.

HCSO Deputies Investigate AT&T Theft of Electronics (2016/07/15)

On July 13, 2016 at 3:30 p.m., four black males and two black females entered the AT&T store located at 11727 Hillsborough Avenue and forcefully removed numerous electronics (Apple iPhone 6s, 6s Plus, iPad Pro and Samsung Note) from their security bases and fled to an awaiting gray, 2015 Nissan Sentra, 4-door vehicle.  The black females are in the late teens to early 20`s.

HCSO Detectives Search for Burglar Who Returns for More (2016/07/15)

On July 4, 2016 at approximately 2:30 a.m., an unknown male entered the victim`s backyard at 10224 Parsons Street in Tampa and took a Ryobi weed eater and placed it in the trunk of his white 4-door sedan.  Later at 7:00 a.m., the same subject returned in a Nissan Frontier pickup and took the victim`s Craftsman push lawn mower from the backyard.  The suspect is a white or Hispanic male, muscular build and was wearing a red shirt, Hawaiian print shorts and sandals.

TPD Detectives Ask for Help with Identifying Serial Burglars (2016/07/14)

On July 12, 2016 at approximately 3:30 p.m., an unknown white male and unknown Hispanic male made entry into the residence at 4715 San Jose Street West in Tampa by prying open a rear door.  The white male wearing a black ball cap with red writing, dark colored t-shirt and dark pants was captured on surveillance video ringing the door bell while wearing a blue latex glove on his finger.  The second suspect was a well dressed Hispanic male, 25-35 yoa, 5`08" to 6`0", 170lbs. and seen wearing a white button down shirt and dark jeans.  (See photo below from previous burglary)  The suspects spent time ransacking the residence, going room to room to select personal items and jewelry.  As the home owner arrived, the suspects dropped the pillowcases containing the items.  The suspects were seen on surveillance video being dropped off by a black, newer model Jeep Renegade being driving by a third unknown subject.  The vehicle was seen circling the area until the suspects fled the residence on foot toward Westshore Boulevard.     

 

Detectives believe that the suspects are responsible for at least sixteen residential burglaries in the South Tampa area since March 26, 2016.  In most cases the primary target has been jewelry and to date several hundred thousand dollars has been stolen.

HCSO Detectives Search for CVS Robber (2016/07/13)

On July 4, 2016 at approximately 12:50 p.m., an unknown Hispanic male entered the CVS located at 909 Lumsden Road in Brandon and purchased a pack of gum.  The male showed the clerk a note that stated he had a gun and wanted money.  The suspect, described as being in his late 30`s to early 40`s, 180 lbs. and wearing a maroon button down shirt, blue jeans, light brown work boots and a black baseball cap, fled the store on foot southbound on Bell Shoals Road with cash.

Update:  On July 14, 2016 at 3:27 a.m., two armed suspects entered the 7-Eleven, displayed handguns while demanding cash and cigarettes.  The suspects fled on foot in a southwest direction toward the Family Dollar plaza.

Detectives believe the suspects are the same ones who are responsible for the robbery on July 12, 2016.

                 

On July 12, 2016 at approximately 3:00 a.m., two unknown male subjects were dropped off by an unknown subject driving an unknown make SUV in the Family Dollar Store parking lot located at 7625 Causeway Boulevard in Tampa.  The subjects walked towards the 7-Eleven at 7711 Causeway Boulevard as the SUV traveled westbound towards 76th Street.  As the suspects entered the store, suspect #1 produced a black handgun and demanded cash and cigarettes.  Suspect #2 jumped over the counter and began taking the items.  The suspects fled on foot in a southwest direction towards the south side of the shopping plaza.  The SUV was could be a Ford Explorer, possibly a mid-tone color such as silver, gray or tan with a luggage rack on the roof.

Suspect #1 is described as a white or Hispanic male, early to mid 20`s, 5`08" to 5`10", medium build and wearing all black clothing with a mask, hood and blue latex gloves.  He was armed with an unknown make handgun.

Suspect #2 is described as a white or Hispanic male, early to mid 20`s, 5`05" to 5`07", medium build and wearing all black clothing with mask, hood and blue latex gloves.
