HCSO Detectives Work to Identify Cell Phone Thieves

On November 15, 2016 at 5:45 p.m., two unknown black males entered the AT&T store at 217 Brandon Town Center Drive and removed three cell phones valued at $2,320.  The phones were on display near the store entrance.  The suspects fled on foot toward the Target. 

The first suspect was described as a black male, 18-25 yoa, 5`09" to 6`0", 150-170 lbs., short black hair, black beard/mustache and was wearing a black beanie cap, black sweatshirt, black sweatpants and white sneakers.  The second suspect was described as a black male, 18-25 yoa, 5`06" to 5`09", 150-170 lbs., short black hair, clean shaven and wearing a black beanie cap, gray sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.

HCSO Detectives Look for Home Invasion Suspects
November 17, 2016

On November 15, 2016 at approximately 1:40 a.m., two unknown black males knocked on the victim`s door at 2702 Bruce B. Downs Boulevard in Tampa.  Inside the apartment were five USF students and one opened the door.  The two black male suspects, each armed with a handgun, forced their way inside the apartment.  One suspect held the victims at gun point in the living room while the second suspect entered one room and took a victim`s wallet containing $300.  The suspects fled to a waiting black sedan being driven by a third unknown suspect.

The first suspect was described as a black male, 5`08" to 5`10", large build and wearing dark sweatpants, gray shoes, black hoodie, black leather gloves and a black ski mask.  The second suspect was described as a black male, 5`08" to 5`10", medium build and wearing dark jeans, black shoes, black USF hoodie, green USF skull cap, black gloves with a white skeleton hand, a Vandetta mask and carrying a black backpack with yellow/green straps.

HCSO Detectives Search for Bank Robbery Suspect

STATUS: SOLVED

On November 16, 2016 at approximately 2:00 p.m., an unknown black male entered the Chase bank located at 2802 Fletcher Avenue East in Tampa and produced a note to the teller advising that he was "Heavily Armed" and demanded money.  After receiving cash the suspect fled the bank on foot in an eastbound direction. 

The suspect is described as a black male, 25-30 yoa, approximately 6`08", thin build, short hair, mustache/goatee and was wearing a maroon checkered shirt under a black jacket, blue jeans with white discolorations on the front and was carrying a backpack.

FHP Investigators Ask for Information in Gibsonton Hit & Run Fatality
November 16, 2016

On September 27, 2016 at 7:47 p.m., an unknown vehicle was traveling northbound on Highway 41 in the outside lane South of Beach Avenue in Gibsonton.  A pedestrian was walking northbound across Beach Avenue when the suspect vehicle turned left onto Beach Avenue.  The suspect vehicle struck the victim then fled the scene.  The victim, who was identified as Allen Ray Swyear, 60 yoa, was transported to the hospital but died a week later from the injuries sustained in the crash.  Investigators believe that the suspect vehicle could possibly be a dark colored Nissan Xterra.

PCPD Detectives Work to ID Suspects Stealing from Elderly Shoppers

STATUS: SOLVED

Between October 28, 2016 and November 13, 2016 three unknown subjects targeted three elderly females at two different Publix stores in Plant City.  The suspects, working together, distracted the elderly victim by striking up a conversation while another suspect removed their wallet from their shopping cart.  The suspects left Publix together and went directly to the closest CVS store.  Using the victims stolen credit cards, the suspects purchased several gift cards totaling over $1,000.00.  The suspects, two females and one male, fled the stores in a blue Ford full size passenger van.  See photos of the suspects taken from store surveillance footage.  A photo of the van the suspects utilized was captured at a Plant City gas station.

HCSO Detectives Ask for Information in Shooting Investigation

On October 30, 2016 at approximately 7:00 p.m., a verbal confrontation at 11307 Cujoe Lane in Gibsonton occurred over four-wheelers.  This turned into a physical altercation between a group of individuals where ultimately shots were fired.  Through the course of the investigation it has been determined that there were possibly three shooters involved.  Detectives have identified one of the involved shooters, however, the remaining two shooters are unknown at this time. According to witnesses, one suspect is described as a heavy set black male with dreadlocks as he was seen fleeing on foot.  The second suspect is described as a bald Hispanic male.

The victim has been identified as Juan Pedro Garcia, 43 yoa.  The investigation revealed that this has been an ongoing dispute among individuals in the trailer park.  There are possibly more witnesses to this incident, however, they have not come forward to law enforcement.

Pasco County Detectives Investigate Early Morning Home Invasion
November 08, 2016

On November 7, 2016 at approximately 3:00 a.m., one known suspect and two unknown suspects entered the residence of 37219 Gonzalez Court in Dade City.  While armed with firearms, the suspects ordered the victim to sit on the couch.  The known suspect has been identified as Leon Hernandez, 23 yoa and he was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.  The unknown suspects were described as a Hispanic male who was armed with a chrome long barreled revolver and a white male who was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.  The suspects took two televisions, an Xbox gaming system, a cell phone and the victim`s clothing.  The victim was blindfolded and forced into a 2014 Ford F150 passenger van, gray in color, bearing FL tag DJVJ84.  At Clay Hill Road the victim was pushed out of the van at which time the suspects fled.

During the evening of November 5, 2016 two unknown black males were caught on surveillance video arriving at the Payless Cash & Carry Club located at 2301 McBerry Street East in a white van.  The suspects can be see using a crow bar to attempt to gain access.  The alarm sounded and scared the suspects off before they could gain entry.

HCSO Detectives Search for Nail Polish Thieves

On October 26, 2016 at 1:37 a.m., a black male and a black female entered the Walmart located at 6192 Gunn Highway in Tampa and walked over to the cosmetics department where they placed 276 bottles of nail polish into a book bag.  The suspects left the store without paying for the merchandise then fled in a maroon, 4-door sedan that was waiting outside.  The vehicle had tinted windows and was missing the front driver`s side wheel cover.

The black male is described as 25-30 yoa, 5`07"to 5`11", 150-175 lbs., having a low fade hairstyle and last seen wearing a light blue/dark blue hoodie sweatshirt, khaki pants and tan shoes.  The female suspect is described as 25-30 yoa, 5`04" to 5`08", 160-180 lbs., short black hair and last seen wearing a green sweatshirt and blue Hollister pants.

HCSO Detectives Attempt to ID Suspect Using Stolen Credit Card

Between October 18, 2016 at 4:30 p.m. and October 19, 2016 at 7:30 a.m., unknown suspect(s) entered the victim`s vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot of the Wexford Park Apartment complex.  Several credit cards were taken from the victim`s purse.  A short time after the burglary an unknown suspect used one of the stolen credit cards at the Walgreens located at 2115 Hillsborough Avenue East.  The suspect was caught on surveillance video and is described as a black male, 18-24 yoa, 5`08, 140 lbs., short black hair, clean shaven and was wearing a black/white hooded sweatshirt, black gym shorts and dark colored athletic shoes.

On November 1, 2016 at approximately 1:00 a.m., two unknown suspects entered the Farmers Market located at 1718 Fletcher Avenue East in Tampa after breaking the glass in the door to the business office.   Once inside, the suspects consumed fruit and soda.  The suspects were caught on surveillance video.  Suspect #1 is a white male, thin build and was possibly wearing a cheer-leading costume with a TuTu and possibly a wig.  Suspect #2 is an unknown race male wearing a hoodie with an image of an owl on the front.

FWC Investigators Seek Information On Suspects Who Brutally Killed Family Of Deer

Some time between the afternoon hours of Sunday, October 2, 2016 and the early morning hours of Monday, October 3, 2016, unknown subject(s) entered a fenced enclosure at Nature`s Classroom located at 13100 Verges Road in Thonotosassa.  Once inside, the suspect(s) brutally beat three (3) captive wildlife deer with a blunt object.  The two (2) adult deer, a male named Bucky and a female named Rosie, were found dead by a staff caretaker when she arrived at work.  The third, younger female deer named Katie, was treated by a veterinarian for her injuries, however, she died the next day.  The family of deer were considered as pets to both the staff and the children that visited the park each day.

HCSO Detectives Work to Identify Subway Robbery Suspect

On October 26, 2016 at approximately 4:00 p.m., an unknown white male entered the Subway located at 104 Brandon Boulevard West in Brandon and ordered a sandwich. When the cashier rang up his order, the suspect pulled a black semi-automatic handgun from his waistband, pointed it at the cashier and demanded she open the cash register. The suspect took cash from the register and fled in a newer model, black pickup truck eastbound through the parking lot. The suspect is described as a white male, 30-40 yoa, approximately 5`10" and 240lbs., blading, goatee and wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans.

HCSO Detectives Search for Cell Phone Thief

On October 20, 2016 at approximately 11:40 a.m., an unknown black male entered the AT&T store located at 11131 Dale Mabry Highway North in Tampa and ripped two Samsung Galaxy S7 phones from the display case.  The suspect fled the store with the phones valued at $1,490 then possibly entered the passenger side of a black Infinity FX35, 2012 to 2013 model with tinted windows.  The vehicle fled northbound onto Dale Mabry Highway North.  The black male is believed to be in his early 20`s, 160-180 lbs. and was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and black sweat pants.

TPD Detectives Search for Motorcycle Thieves

On October 22, 2016 three unknown males entered the secure parking area to the garage at Skyhouse Channelside in Tampa.  Once inside, the suspects used a grinder to cut the wheel lock on a 2014 Honda CBR1000.  One of the suspects wearing a black hat and dark jacket fled on the motorcycle.  It is believed that the suspects replaced the ignition with one they brought with them in order to start the motorcycle.

TPD Detectives Search for Suspect who Stole WaveRunners

On October 17, 2016 at 10:06 a.m., an unknown white male entered the Marina Club Condos at 2424 Tampa Bay Boulevard West in Tampa.  Once on the property, the suspect hooked up a Continental trailer containing two Yamaha VX Cruiser WaveRunners to a 2003-2007 GMC Savana work van, white in color.  The suspect fled northbound on Howard Avenue North with the stolen property valued at approximately $33,000.  The van has unique running boards, damage to the driver`s side and two black bumper stops attached to the rear bumper of the van.  The stolen trailer has an after-market chrome diamond-plated storage box attached to the front.

TPD Detectives Search for Pawn Shop Robbers

On October 17, 2016 at 6:54 p.m., three masked suspects entered the Value Pawn located at 3102 Hillsborough Avenue West in Tampa.  Once inside, the suspects, one of which was armed with a small handgun, ordered everyone to the ground.  The suspects used a hammer style tool to shatter the glass case containing jewelry.  Approximately $10,000 to $20,000 worth of jewelry was taken.  The suspects fled in a what is believed to be an older model Honda Accord, silver in color, bearing a possible FL tag of 532BVR.  A fourth suspect was driving the vehicle the suspects fled in. 

The suspects are described as:

#1 - black male, 5`10", 200lbs., wearing a black ski mask, gray long sleeve shirt, dark colored pants and armed with a silver, small caliber semi-automatic handgun

#2 - black male, 6`02", 200lbs., dreadlocks, red bandanna over face, black long sleeve shirt, black pants and black shoes

#3 - black male, 5`10", 180lbs., blue bandanna over face, black long sleeve shirt, black pants and black shoes

#4 - unknown description
