FHP Trooper's Ask for Tips to Identify Suspect Who Hit Marked Patrol Vehicle

On May 5, 2021 at approx. 11:39 a.m., at the intersection of US Highway 41 and State Road 54, a marked FHP patrol vehicle was struck when the suspect vehicle turned entering the trooper's travel lane. The suspect turned into the CVS parking lot exiting back onto Highway 41 to flee southbound.  The suspect vehicle is believed to be a gray, 2004-2009 Hyundai Sonata.

HCSO Look to ID Suspects in Car Burglaries

STATUS: OPEN
On April 22, 2021 between midnight and 5 a.m., three black males drove a stolen blue Honda CR-V to the 6900 block of Casa Verde Court and began going through several unlocked vehicles.  The suspects stole a second vehicle, a red Kia Sorento that was unlocked with the keys in it.  The suspects left that area with the two stolen vehicles and went to the Palmera Pointe Apartments and entered several more unlocked vehicles. The suspects were later caught on video using a stolen credit card from one of the vehicles at a shoe store.

HCSO Detectives Work to Solve Homicide After Verbal Altercation
April 20, 2021

STATUS: OPEN
Update:  The suspect, as seen in the photo, is described as a Hispanic male, 5'05"-5'09", thin build, tattoo on right inner forearm and right calf and was least seen wearing a black t-shirt, tan shorts and black sneakers. He was driving a 2007-2014 MINI Cooper Clubman, 2-door, white in color with black trim and a black hardtop roof. The second suspect, front passenger, was described as a white male, dirty blond wavy hair and seen wearing a white t-shirt.
 
On April 18, 2021 at approx. 11 p.m., at the 7-Eleven located at 5001 Memorial Hwy, a shooting occurred after a verbal altercation ensued between two people. After the verbal altercation, the victim returned to his car then pulled onto George Road with the suspect following him. The suspect pulled up next to the victim and fired multiple shots. The 20 year old victim later died at the hospital from the injuries he sustained.

TPD Detectives Ask for Help to ID Two Jewelry Thieves

On March 27th, 2021, two unknown males entered the Gold Superstore located at 4803 Hillsborough Avenue W. in Tampa.  One of the suspects tried on jewelry while the other supsect open the front door for them to escape. The male who had been trying on jewelry escaped with a necklace and bracelet.

HCSO Detectives Asking for Help to ID Hit and Run Driver

On Thursday, April 1, 2021, just before 6 a.m., a 9 year old male was waiting for the school bus near the 2400 block of West Lake Drive in Wimauma when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver of the supsect vehicle did not stop.  The suspect vehicle is described as a dark-colored sedan that was traveling north on West Lake Drive.  The child that was hit was taken to the hospital by his mother to be treated for head injuries.  The victims condition is unknown at this time.

HCSO Detectives Work to ID Suspect in Shooting in Front of Hookah Lounge

On Sunday, March 21st at approx. 3:40 a.m., a victim was sitting in his vehicle in front of the Sky Hookah Lounge, 7748 Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa. The victim said that an unknown suspect approached him with a gun and shot at his vehicle. The suspect fled the area right after shooting at the victim.  The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening gun shot wounds.  The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, wearing a red t-shirt, camouflage pants and a mens satchel.  He may have a half sleeve tattoo on his lower right arm.

Pasco Detectives Look to ID Suspects in Car Burglaries

On March 15th and 16th around 3:00 a.m., two unknown male suspects attempted to break into several cars in the Holiday Hills area of Port Richey, FL. The suspects are white males, 14-17 years old, wearing hooded sweatshirts, shorts and face coverings. The suspect shown in the video is wearing a grey colored Nike hoodie, black shorts and black athletic shoes.

HCSO Detectives Work to Identify Suspects Committing Retail Thefts

STATUS: OPEN
Two unknown suspects are believed to have committed multiple retail thefts stealing a felony amount of merchandise from various stores in Hillsborough County. On February 19, 2021, shortly after 7:00 p.m., the suspects took items valued at over $1,000 from Publix at 13154 Highway 301 South in Riverview. Then on February 20, 2021, detectives believe the same suspects committed a theft from Sprouts located at 15110 Dale Mabry Highway North when they stole $1,100 in vitamins.
 
The suspects were captured on surveillance video at Publix. The male is described as Hispanic, 45-55 yoa, 5'10", medium build and possibly having his hair dyed blonde. The second suspect is a Hispanic female, approx. 50 yoa, 5'4" with a heavy build. They are believed to be traveling in a 2008-2014 Mercedes C-Class sedan (possibly a C350), silver in color with dark tinted windows and a sunroof.

HCSO Detectives Investigate Shooting Involving Three Female Suspects
March 15, 2021

STATUS: SOLVED
Three female suspects were involved in an overnight shooting that occurred in the parking lot of SD Banquet Hall located at 10101 92 Highway East in Tampa.
 
On March 14, 2021, just after 11:00 p.m., a victim was engaged in a verbal altercation with three unknown black females, which turned physical. Later, the three suspects got into an unknown white sedan.  A passenger of the vehicle fired shots from the car, striking the victim and three others. All four shooting victims were taken to a local hospital and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The suspects fled the scene westbound on Highway 92.

HCSO Detectives Ask For Help to ID Suspects in Shell Gas Station Attempted Robbery

On March 3, 2021 at approx. 3:05 a.m., two unknown suspects tried to enter the Shell Gas Station, located at 5524 Van Dyke Road in Lutz. Although the suspects did not make entrance into the building, the suspects did cause damage to the front door by throwing a brick, breaking the glass.  The first suspect is a black male, 5'10-6'0, 190-210 lbs., wearing a yellow knit beanie, black mask, dark blue shirt and pants, with Nike shoes that have a yellow swoosh.  The second suspect is a black male, 5'8-5'11, 175-200 lbs. wearing a black beanie, black T-shirt, and dark athletic shoes.
