FHP is Asking for Information on Dale Mabry Hit & Run (2016/03/26)

On March 26, 2016 a Dodge 4-door was traveling northbound on Dale Mabry Highway in the inside travel lane approaching Medical Drive in Tampa.  The pedestrian victim was walking across the northbound lanes and entered the travel lane of the Dodge which struck him.  The unknown suspect driving the Dodge fled the scene.  The Dodge was described as possibly being a Dart and was orange in color.  The suspect vehicle should have damage to the front left and side.  Photo displayed is not the actual vehicle.

PCSO Detectives Search for Store Burglary Suspects (2016/03/24)

On March 22, 2016 at approximately 6:00 a.m., five unknown suspects forced their way into the Sprint Wireless store located at 1821 Bruce B. Downs Boulevard in Wesley Chapel by breaking the glass front door.  Once inside, the suspects selected merchandise and cash then fled.  All five suspects were wearing hooded jackets.

TPD Detectives Investigate Early Morning Home Invasion (2016/03/14)

On March 3, 2016 at approximately 2:15 a.m., unknown male suspects forcibly entered the residence of 1409 Yukon Street West in Tampa through the front door.  Once inside, the suspects demanded money and drugs from the occupants.  The suspects stole jewelry, electronics, cash and a .357 handgun then fled the residence in an unknown type vehicle.

PCSO Detectives Ask for Information on West Pasco Vehicle Burglaries and Thefts (2016/03/10)

Since February 21, 2016 several unknown suspects have broken into and stolen a variety of vehicles in West Pasco county.  To date, there have been 15 cases involving at least 3 suspects.  They are believed to be committing similar crimes in other jurisdictions.  Detectives have obtained security videos showing the suspects trying to enter unlocked vehicles.  In the videos the suspects were seen utilizing a stolen Hyundai and Nissan Pathfinder.

HCSO Detectives Ask for Information on Shooting (2016/02/22)

On February 15, 2016 at 10:56 p.m. Hillsborough County deputies responded to a call regarding several shots being fired in the Del Rio Apartment Complex at 5107 Sligh Avenue East in Tampa.  An unknown suspect fired several rounds in the direction of a security guard and a tow truck operator who were standing in the apartment complex parking lot.  The unknown suspect fled the scene.  No injuries were reported.

HCSO Detectives Ask for Information on Bar Shooting (2016/02/20)

On February 20, 2016 just after 4:15 a.m., Hillsborough County deputies responded to a call regarding a shooting at the Smokin Bull Hooka Bar located at 2810 E. Bearss Avenue in Tampa.  In the large crowd deputies discovered four victims who were suffering from gun shot wounds.  One victim has died as a result of their injuries.  The other three victims are being treated at area hospitals.

HCSO Detectives Ask for the Public's Help Identifying Robbery Suspect (2016/02/17)

On February 17, 2016 shortly before 9:00 a.m., an unknown white male entered the Ruskin Food Mart located at 401 Shellpoint Road, told the cashier he was there to rob her and to give him all of the money.  After receiving the cash, the suspect fled the store on foot.  The suspect was described as a white male, 20 to 30 years of age, blonde facial stubble with a "soul" patch and last seen wearing a black hoody with a gray t-shirt underneath, black gym shorts with a cobalt blue stripe and gray sneakers.  The suspect was believed to be driving a 2000/2001 gold Saturn SL2 with damage on the front.  Detectives believe this robbery suspect may be tied to the robbery at the Circle K on Apollo Beach Boulevard that occurred on February 15, 2016.

On December 19, 2015 two unknown suspects used a credit card that had been duplicated or compromised in some way at the Publix at 2724 W. Hillsborough Avenue and the Babies R Us at 3908 W. Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa.  The fraudulent transactions were made by an unknown white male and female.

HCSO Detectives Work to Identify Robbery Suspect (2016/02/16)

On February 15, 2016 at approximately 10:32 p.m., a Hispanic male entered the Circle K store at 330 Apollo Beach Boulevard, ran behind the counter and demanded money and lottery tickets from the clerk.  The suspect implied he had a firearm concealed in a sock and took lottery tickets and cash.  The suspect fled the store westbound on Apollo Beach Boulevard on foot.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5`06" to 5`09", 140-150 lbs., last seen wearing a black shirt, dark colored jeans, a white/black beanie hat with a small emblem on the front (possibly the Oakland Raiders) and a dark colored sock on his right hand.

HCSO Detectives Ask for Information on Wimauma Auto Theft (2016/02/15)

On January 21, 2016 at approximately 1:30 a.m. two unknown subjects entered the property of the Beth El Mission (RCMA Wimauma Academy) located at 18240 Highway 301 South in Wimauma.  The suspects broke the window of a locked 2013 Chevrolet van in an attempt to steal it however their efforts failed.  At approximately 2:20 a.m., the suspects entered an unlocked 1997 Ford E350 passenger van, removed the steering column and drove the van through a gate on the southeast side of the property, through the soccer field and around the pond in an effort to avoid obstacles on the property.  The suspects fled east on Willow Road in the stolen van.  Surveillance video captured the suspects going in and out of the vans and the van being driven around the property.  On January 22, 2016 the stolen van was recovered on Highland Road north of Ridge Road stuck in the mud.

HCSO Detectives Want to Identify Rolex Thief (2016/02/12)

On February 8, 2016 at 7:36 p.m. a male who identified himself as "Evan White" to the victim, entered a business within the Bloomingdale Golfers club located at 4113 Great Golfers Place in Valrico.  The suspect responded to a Craigslist ad for a 2012 Rolex Submariner ceramic stainless watch.  While the suspect was viewing the watch he walked outside with the victim to show the watch to a second party.  At some point the suspect exchanged the watch for a similar looking cheap imitation, then declined to buy the watch that was for sale.  The suspect left with the victim`s watch valued at approximately $6,900.  There was a very thin white female with brown hair seen inside the truck with the suspect.

The suspect was described as a white male, 25-35 years of age, 5`08", 200 lbs. and having a short fade haircut.  The suspect was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt , dark sweat pants with white vertical stripes and black/white sneakers.  The suspect drove a newer style Chevrolet pickup truck, dark blue in color with dark tinted windows.

PCPD Searches for Female Bank Robbery Suspect (2016/02/12)

On February 10, 2016 at 5:32 p.m., an unknown female entered the Sunshine State Bank located at 2400 James L. Redman Parkway in Plant City and demanded money from an employee.  After receiving the cash, the suspect fled the bank on foot.  The suspect is described as a white female, approximately 40-45 years of age and last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, white shoes and a black beanie type hat.  The suspect was carrying a large vinyl or leather looking bag with carry handles.

TPD Detectives Work to Identify Violent Robbery Suspects (2016/02/11)

On January 26, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. the victim was operating a forklift at 5207 North 30th Street in Tampa when he was approached by two suspects.  One of the suspects displayed a gun and when the victim ran he was shot in the back.  Law enforcement believe that the suspects are a male and female.  The male suspect has been described to have an under bite and very thin beard.  Detectives believe that this robbery is similar to one that was on January 18, 2016 at 3001 Hillsborough Avenue East in Tampa.

TPD Detectives Ask for Information in Early Morning Club Shooting (2016/02/06)

On February 6, 2016 at approximately 2:08 a.m., Tampa Police Department received a 911 call regarding a shooting inside the Club Rayne located at 8123 N. Nebraska Avenue in Tampa.  As a result, eight people suffered gunshot wounds.  Seven victims are being treated at area hospitals and one victim has died from the injuries.

HCSO Detectives Work to Identify Female Burglar (2016/02/04)

On January 31, 2016 at 2:13 am, an unknown female suspect entered the Laundry Room of Riverview located at 10654 Highway 301 S after she kicked in the lower portion of the glass in the door.  After ducking under the hand bar and entering the business, she utilized a tool similar to a pry bar to open the cash register and remove cash.  The suspect is described as a white female, 5` to 5`03", very heavyset and last seen on the surveillance video wearing a mask similar to a bandanna covering the lower portion of her face, a gray long sleeve hoodie, green/white circle spotted shirt and white shoes.

Between October 1, 2015 and October 2, 2015 an unknown suspect used a stolen debit card to deposit 5 fraudulent checks into an account at the Tampa Bay Federal Credit Union located at 3815 Nebraska Avenue N. in Tampa.  The suspect then withdrew money from an ATM as seen on the video.

HCSO Detectives Need to Identify 2nd Burglary Suspect (2016/01/29)

On January 1, 2016 thirty-nine vehicles within the Lake Lucerne Complex in Brandon were broken into by breaking the window.  The suspects removed property from each vehicle.  On January 5, 2016 ten vehicle burglaries occurred at the College Chase Subdivision in Ruskin. 
 
On January 28, 2016 Torries Kermet Davis was arrested by the Tampa Police Department on 106 related charges as he is suspected of numerous vehicle burglaries within Hillsborough County and the City of Tampa.
 

Law enforcement believe that a second suspect involved in the vehicle burglaries is a black male that has a nickname of "D" and two tear drop tattoos under his right eye.  The suspect was captured on surveillance footage.  Detectives believe he is from the Ft. Myers area.

On January 26, 2016 an unknown black male suspect grabbed a female victim while she was standing on her front porch in the area of Hillsborough Avenue East and 15th Street North in Tampa.  A motion light and barking dog scared the suspect away.  A composite sketch was prepared to help identify the suspect.

TPD Detectives Seek Information on Desecration and Theft at Italian Club Cemetery (2016/01/21)

Sometime between November 11, 2015 and January 12, 2016, unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the Spicola family mausoleum at the Italian Club Cemetery located at 3158 N. 26th Street in Tampa.  Once inside, the suspect(s) stole a coffin with the remains of two bodies and the skull of a third body.
