HCSO Detectives Want to Identify Business Burglary Suspects (2015/11/30)

On November 25, 2015 at 3:43 am, four unknown suspects gained entry into the T-Mobile store located at 6919 Gunn Highway in Tampa by smashing the front glass door with a large concrete rock.  Once inside the business, the suspects removed several Apple products to include iPhones and iPads, Andoid phones and many accessories.  The estimated value of the electronics stolen is $10,000.  The suspects fled in an unknown type dark color SUV in an eastbound direction.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect #1 - black male last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black pants, white sneakers and a black knit cap.

Suspect #2 - black male last seen wearing a black tank top, black pants, white sneakers and a black knit cap.

Suspect #3 - black male last seen wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans and a black cap.

Suspect #4 - black female last seen wearing a black long sleeve shirt and a black cap.

TPD Detectives are Investigating Possibly Related Armed Business Robberies (2015/11/30)

On November 29, 2015 at approximately 9:51 pm, two unknown suspects entered the Family Dollar located at 10220 30th Street North in Tampa while brandishing firearms.  They demanded money from the store clerk then fled in an unknown direction with cash.  Shortly thereafter at 11:06 pm, an unknown suspect dressed identical to one of the suspect`s in the Family Dollar robbery entered the Papa John`s pizza located at 9340 Florida Avenue North in Tampa while brandishing a firearm.  The suspect fired a shot into the ceiling of the business, demanded money and then fled with cash.  At this time law enforcement believe that the robberies were committed by the same suspects.

Suspect #1 - black male, 5`09", 150-170 lbs. and last seen wearing a black beanie, black hoodie, black shoes, black/white gloves, black or gray jeans and a red mask.    

Suspect #2 - black male, 5`09", 150-170 lbs. and last seen wearing a black hoodie, black jeans, brown boots, black/white gloves, black mask and he was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.

Detectives with the New Port Richey PD are asking for information regarding the disappearance of Brook Lynn Peck, white female, 12/5/1993.  The circumstances surrounding Brook`s disappearance is suspicious in nature as she has not been seen or heard from since October 26, 2015.  Brook is 4`11", 110 pounds and is known to frequent the area of Vandoren Avenue and Leisure Lane in New Port Richey.

TPD Detectives Investigate Shooting at Tampa Nightclub (2015/11/15)

On November 14, 2015 at 2:50 am, a shooting occurred at the Hush Gentleman`s Club located at 3260 Hillsborough Avenue West in Tampa as the club was closing.  According to law enforcement, gunshots were fired from one or more vehicles in the parking lot.  The two victims were leaving the club when they were struck in the upper body.  Both victims suffered injuries and were transported to the hospital.

Pasco Deputies Search for Suspect who Offered to Buy Student's Sock (2015/11/12)

Pasco County deputies are searching for a man who approached a Fivay High School student the morning of November 12, 2015.  The student was walking north on Canton Avenue from State Road 52 near the football bleachers when a small, black, 4-door, possibly a Hyundai pulled up next to her.  The driver was described as a white male in his mid to late 40`s with balding hair and wearing a blue, button down shirt.  He offered her $20 for her sock.  When she refused, he offered to give her $100 if she watched him fondle himself.  The student ran to school and reported the incident.  Pictured is a composite sketch of the unknown suspect in this case.

HCSO Detectives Attempt to Identify Cell Phone Thief (2015/11/10)

On October 30, 2015 at approximately 1:57 pm, the victim placed their cell phone value at approximately $600 down on a shelf inside the Walmart located at 2701 Fletcher Avenue E. in Tampa.  The victim failed to retrieve their phone before the unknown suspect picked it up, placed it in his pocket and left the store.  The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 25-30 years of age, 5`06"-5`08", 150-170 lbs., goatee, has a full sleeve of tattoos on his right arm and was last seen wearing a blue shirt, black shorts, a black hat and sandals.  (see below photo)

TPD is Asking for Information on Hit and Run (2015/11/07)

TPD detectives are asking for information from the public regarding the suspect and suspect vehicle involved in an early morning Hit and Run that killed 11 year old Alexander H. Torres.  On November 7, 2015 the victim, was struck by a vehicle while on the bridge of Hillsborough Avenue and the river.  Alexander Torres died as a result of the injuries he sustained.  The suspect vehicle is believed to be a mid-sized sedan, 4-door, similar to a Nissan Altima, possibly grey or light green in color.  The vehicle was last seen traveling eastbound on Hillsborough Avenue towards Florida Avenue and may have damage to the front left corner.

FHP Is Asking for Information on Pasco Hit & Run Investigation (2015/11/04)

On October 21, 2015 at 10:47 am, a Hyundai Sonata was traveling northbound on US Highway 19, north of State Road 54 in the inside lane while a 1994 Chevrolet Blazer was traveling in the center lane.  The driver of the Hyundai Sonata attempted to change lanes to the center lane and in doing so struck the right rear of the Hyundai Sonata with the left front of the Chevrolet Blazer.  The impact caused the driver of the Chevrolet Blazer to lose control and the vehicle overturned multiple times.  All three occupants of the Chevrolet Blazer were ejected from the vehicle onto US Highway 19.  The driver of the Hyundai Sonata continued traveling northbound on US Highway 19 without stopping.  The suspect vehicle is believed to be either silver or white in color.  All three victims are in their early 20’s and were hospitalized with serious injuries.  (Photo is of the vehicle struck by the suspect vehicle.)

HCSO Detectives Want to Identify Suspect Who Stole Victim's Identity (2015/11/03)

An unidentified male used the victim`s information to obtain a Sam`s Club charge account and used that information to purchase $4,716.73 worth of merchandise at the Sam`s Club located at 15834 Dale Mabry Highway North in Tampa on September 22, 2015 at 6:06 pm.  The suspect is described as a white male, mid-fifties to early sixties, approximately 5`06", 150 lbs., tan complexion, short salt and pepper hair and last seen wearing blue jeans and a white shirt.  (see surveillance photos)

On January 5, 2015, Tampa PD officers responded to 3107 North Jefferson Street shortly after receiving a 9-1-1 call that a man was shot.  When the officers, arrived at the house they found Lyfe Coleman, pictured here, lying on the ground in the front yard with a gunshot wound.  The victim was transported to Tampa General Hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries.

On May 31, 2015 at approximately 4:20 pm, TPD officers received a 911 call about an injured teen.  Officers found Edward Harris injured from a gunshot wound at Woodlawn Terrace Park located at 6410 N. 32nd Street N. in Tampa.  Harris later at a local hospital.
 
Detectives believe that the suspect(s) shot Harris from a silver or grey 4-door vehicle as seen in the surveillance video.

HCSO Detectives are Investigating an Early Morning Home Invasion (2015/10/23)

On October 23, 2015 at approximately 2:47 am, two males wearing masks entered the residence in the 8700 block of Deep Maple Dr. in Riverview.  An occupant of the residence heard noises downstairs and was approached by the two suspects.  The suspects shot the victim four times at which time the victim ran upstairs and hid.  The suspects took electronics and fled out the rear sliding doors running through a neighbors yard then leaving the area in a light green VW beetle.

On September 24, 2015 at 10:26 pm, an unknown black male approached the victim from behind as he was making a night deposit at the Bank of America located at 300 Parsons Avenue S. in Brandon.  The suspect demanded money and after obtaining cash he fled in a southeasterly direction.  The suspect is described as a black male, 5`11" to 6`01", 170 lbs. and last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with NYC letters in white on the front, black baggy shorts, dark tennis shoes and a black beanie cap.

HCSO Detectives Attempt to Identify Theft Suspect (2015/10/22)

On September 27, 2015 at approximately 2:33 pm, an unknown female suspect entered the Target located at 6295 W. Waters Avenue in Tampa and went to the electronics section.  The suspect used a security key to unlock the merchandise rack then chose a GoPro camera system.  The suspect took the item to the ladies clothing section where she removed the camera from the packing and placed it in a black shoulder bag.  The suspect fled the store without paying for the camera and left the location in a silver Jeep 4-door SUV, possibly a Patriot. 

The suspect is described as a white female, 18-25 years of age, 5`02-5`05", 100-120lbs., blond hair in a pony tail and last seen wearing a white t-shirt with #13 on the back in red, yellow florescent shorts, white sneakers with bright orange soles and carrying a black shoulder bag.

HCSO Detectives Are Asking for Information on Fraud Suspect (2015/10/20)

Between August 3, 2015 and September 24, 2015, sixty-four (64) credit card charges were made using a fraudulent corporate fuel card.  The total loss exceeds $8,000.00.  The majority of the charges were made for diesel fuel.  Forty-four (44) transactions were within Unincorporated Hillsborough County with the remaining charges in the City of Tampa.

The suspect has been described as a white male, approximately 5`10", 200 pounds, medium build, medium complexion and short dark hair.  The suspect has been seen driving an older model white pickup with a wide black stripe on the rear sides.

On October 9, 2015 at approximately 9:07pm, two unknown suspects entered the MD Oriental Market located at 1102 Fowler Avenue E. in Tampa while it was closed.  The suspects broke through the concrete wall to get inside and steal cash.  The suspects fled on foot, running in a northbound direction on 12th Street N.

The suspects are described as:  1.  black male, 20-30 years of age, average height, thin build, full beard and last seen wearing a baggy white t-shirt and baggy white shorts, black athletic shoes and unknown colored gloves.  2. 20-30 years of age, average height, medium build, possibly having a beard and last seen wearing a white t-shirt, khaki shorts, white socks and white shoes, a baseball cap with "TB" on front, gloves and having a white t-shirt covering part of his face.

Armed Robber Strikes Twice in Two Days (2015/10/15)

On October 14, 2015 just after 6:00 am, an unknown subject entered the Circle K gas station located at 1909 James L. Redman Parkway in Plant City dressed in all black clothing with his face covered.  The male subject was armed with a long rifle and pointed it at the clerk while demanding money from the register.  After taking the cash the suspect fled on foot.  The suspect is described as a black male, light complexion, approximately 6`0" tall and thin build.

On October 15, 2015 at approximately 5:30 am, an unknown subject entered the Citgo gas station located at 9702 Dr. MLK Boulevard E. in Tampa armed with a long rifle.  The male suspect, dressed in dark clothing pointed the rifle at the clerk and demanded cash.  After receiving the money the suspect fled the store on foot.  Once outside, as the suspect was fleeing he fired one gunshot in an unknown direction.  The suspect is described as a black male, 5;07", 150-160 lbs.

Law enforcement detectives from the Hillsborough County Sheriff`s Office and Plant City Police Department believe that the same suspect is responsible for both robberies.

TPD Detectives Ask for Information on Early Morning Shooting (2015/10/04)

On October 4, 2015 at approximately 5:15 am the victim, Jermaine Faison, 8/21/1983, was sitting in his 2009 Maserati, blue in color, that was parked in the rear parking lot at the Playpen Gentleman`s Club located at 1715 50th Street N. in Tampa.  A vehicle, possibly black in color, pulled up, a passenger exited the vehicle and shot the victim.  The victim later died at the hospital as a result of the injuries.
