On May 2, 2016 around noon an unknown black male fired a shot at the Windtree Apartment Complex located at 6641 Deeb Street in Port Richey.  A security camera captured a passenger exit a red Ford Explorer that was towing a flatbed trailer.  The subject walks out of then back into camera view then fired one shot at the apartment complex.  A 40-caliber casing was found at the scene.  The suspect is described as a black male wearing dark clothing.

TPD is Asking for Information on PDQ Drive-Thru Robbery

On May 31, 2016 at approximately 9:50 p.m., an unknown suspect, while armed with a silver handgun, approached the drive-thru window of the PDQ at 2207 Dale Mabry Highway South in Tampa.  The suspect pointed the gun at the employee and demanded money.  The suspect is a white male who was wearing a black/white mask, grey hoodie and black gloves.  The suspect is approximately 5`10" to 6`0", medium build, 180-200 lbs. and possibly 25 to 30 years of age.

HCSO Detectives Investigate Lithia Residential Burglary

On May 22, 2016 at approximately 10:45 a.m., unknown suspects broke into the residence at 18537 Boyette Road in Lithia by breaking a living room window.  Once inside, the suspects took approximately $27,000 in jewelry, electronics and other items.  The victim`s credit card was used at three businesses in Plant City.  The pictured suspects were captured on video at the Shell Gas Station at 1514 Alexander Street South in Plant City making a purchase with a stolen credit card.  The suspects were seen in a 2005 to 2010 Pontiac Grand Am, white in color with tinted windows.

The suspects are described as a black males.  The first suspect is 5`05", 25 to 30 years of age and having a chin strap beard and mustache.  The second suspect is 6`0", 30 to 40 years of age with a full beard and receding hair line.

TPD Detectives Want to Identify Suspects Using Stolen Credit Cards

On May 23, 2016 between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., unknown suspect(s) broke in to three vehicles that were parked at the LA Fitness at 6411 County Line Road East in Tampa by smashing the side windows.  Once inside, the suspects took the victims purses and wallets.  Shortly after, unknown suspects used two of the stolen credit cards to make purchases at the Walmart at 2701 Fletcher Avenue East and the Wawa at 2325 Fletcher Avenue East.  The suspects were seen in an unknown sedan, silver in color.

HCSO Deputies Search for Stolen Lawn Trailer and Equipment

On May 25, 2016 at approximately 4:58 a.m., two suspects forced their way through the front entry to Store Right Self Storage at 3648 Highway 41 South in Ruskin.  The suspects removed a 15-foot enclosed lawn utility trailer with 4th Seed Lawn Care and Maintenance painted on the sides.  The trailer contained an estimated $6,000 worth of lawn equipment.  The suspects also broken in to three other enclosed utility trailers and took unknown items.  The suspects fled with the stolen property in a possible blue Ford F150 or F250, long wheel base pickup truck.

HCSO Detectives Want to Identify Suspect Who Used Stolen Credit Card

On May 21, 2016 at approximately 11:00 a.m. a unknown suspect shattered the rear passenger side window to the victim`s vehicle while it was parked at the Youfit gym located at 1104 Fowler Avenue East in Tampa.  Once inside, the suspect removed a purse which contained the victim`s wallet and credit cards.  Minutes later, one of the stolen credit cards was used at the Shell gas station at 1451 Fowler Avenue East.  The suspect has been described as a black male, approximately 5`11", 175 lbs. and last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black gym shorts, white socks and black Nike sandals.  The suspect was seen driving a newer model Ford F150 pickup truck silver in color.

HCSO Deputies Search for Robber Dressed as a Painter

On May 23, 2016 at 8:20 a.m., an unknown male entered the Publix at 939 Brandon Boulevard West in Brandon while dressed as a painter and wearing a blue mask.  The suspect approached the customer service counter and asked to speak to the manager.  Once the manager arrived, the suspect demanded money from the safe.  The suspect showed the employees a black handgun that was contained within a medium size maroon bag.  After receiving cash, the suspect fled the store in a gray Lexus, mid 2000`s model (possibly a 2005) LS 430 south onto Buckingham Place.

The suspect is described as a black male with medium complexion or a dark skinned Hispanic male, approximately 5`10", 200 lbs. and last seen wearing a white painters outfit that covered his head, arms and legs.  The suspect was also wearing gloves, shoe booties and a blue mask.

TPD Detectives Ask for Information from the Public

On May 18, 2016 at 2:25 a.m., the victim was riding a mobility scooter in the area of N. 13th Street and E. Sitka Street in the Sulphur Springs community of Tampa.  An unknown black male suspect attacked the victim by stabbing him with an unknown sharp object.  As a result, the victim sustained several lacerations.  The suspect fled the scene after taking the victim`s cell phone.  A description of the suspect is that he is a black male, tall, approximately 6`02", 210-220 lbs. and having facial hair.

On May 15, 2016 at 3:00 a.m., an unknown white male entered the Skipper`s Smokehouse located at 910 Skipper Road in Tampa, pried open the ATM and removed cash.  The suspect is tall, has short dark hair, was wearing a hat and bandanna covering his face, long pants, a light colored long sleeve shirt, gloves and had a holstered black pistol on his right side.  The suspect was carrying a large backpack on his back and had a head-band flashlight tied to his head.

HCSO Detectives Search for Vehicle Burglar

On May 5, 2016 at approximately 1:02 a.m. an unknown race male entered the victim`s white box trailer while it was parked at 7213 Waycross Avenue.  The suspect cut off the lock bracket and removed several power tools including a Dewalt air compressor, Dewalt hammer drill, Ryobi 12v drill, Dewalt chipping hammer, several nails guns, a Carrier scale, AC Gauges and a skillsaw.  Surveillance video revealed the unknown suspect wearing a light colored shirt and hat.

HCSO Detectives Ask for Information on Store Burglary

On May 3, 2016 at approximately 12:36 a.m., an unknown white male used a pair of bolt cutters to smash the front glass door to JJ`s Food Mart located at 10228 Harney Road in Thonotosassa.  The suspect entered the business, jumped the counter and took deposit bags containing cash.  The suspect was wearing a dark colored sweatshirt and concealed his face with a dark colored shirt.  He was wearing gloves that might of been red or orange in color.

TPD Detective Ask for Information in Bridge Road Rage Incident

On May 9, 2016 just before 10:00 p.m., a group of motorcycles were traveling on I275 crossing the Howard Franklin Bridge when a burgundy SUV began trying to force them off the roadway.  The SUV and motorcycles stopped near the Kennedy Boulevard/Airport Exit when a physical altercation between the unknown driver of the SUV and one of the motorcyclists.  The subject from the SUV went back to the vehicle, retrieved a semi-automatic handgun and fired several shots ultimately striking one of the motorcyclists in the ankle.  The suspect was described as a black male, 5`08 to 5`10" and he fled the scene driving the SUV northbound on I275.  The SUV might be a Ford Edge or similar type vehicle.

PCPD Detectives Ask for Information from the Public on Shooting of Elderly Victim

On May 5, 2016 at approximately 11:50 p.m., the victim, a 72 year old male, exited his vehicle after pulling into his driveway in the 500 block of Allen Street in Plant City.  Three male subjects wearing ski masks exited what was believed to be a black vehicle and shouted at the victim, "Give It Up" as they approached him.  As the victim ran toward his house to escape, one or more of the suspects fired multiple times striking the victim who is now hospitalized.

On May 1, 2016 between 4:00 a.m. and 4:10 a.m., two unknown suspects wearing dark clothing rammed the gate of Heat Pipe Technology located at 6904 Parke East Boulevard in Tampa with a white 4-door extended bed pick-up truck, 1999 to 2007 diesel model with a chrome grill and chrome wheels, possibly a Ford F250 Fx4.  Once inside the property, the suspects hooked up a black dual axle flatbed trailer then fled westbound on Parke East Boulevard.

Pasco Detectives Investigate Theft of Firearms at Armory

On May 1, 2016 between 2:53 a.m. and 2:57 a.m., three unknown suspects wearing hoods and gloves broke the lighting outside of Grey Wolf`s Armory located at 32733 Eiland Boulevard in Wesley Chapel.  The suspects knocked a hole in the east side of the business.  Once inside, the suspects crawled around to avoid the surveillance cameras and security system.  The suspects took 30 handguns, 2 long guns and 1 sniper rifle.

FHP is Asking for Information on Overnight Fatal Hit and Run

On May 2, 2016 at 11:07 a.m., FHP received information regarding a deceased person who was located along northbound Interstate 75 near the 240 Milepost just north of Sun City Center.  Investigators believe that a Fatal Hit and Run crash occurred overnight.  A 38 year old male pedestrian had been struck and killed.  The driver of the suspect vehicle fled the scene of the crash.  Troopers are searching for a black F150, F250 or Expedition type vehicle that may have damage to the right front of the vehicle and a flat tire.

HCSO Detectives Seek Information on Stolen Equipment
April 29, 2016

Between April 23, 2016 at 1:00 a.m. and April 25, 2016 at 9:00 a.m., unknown suspect(s) cut a hole in the chain link fence to the east parking lot of Cintas located at 7101 Parke East Boulevard in Tampa.  Once inside, the suspect(s) took several large pieces of equipment to include an American Forge & Foundry 3598 10-Ton Lift, a KAI VAC 500 psi KAI AC Machine, a Cintas Safewasher Smart Washer Model 23, an Autometer BVA-36 Charging Analyzer (not pictured) and a Flexi Pro Sprayer.

 

Between April 26, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. and April 27, 2016 at 9:00 a.m., unknown suspect(s) cut a second hole in the chain link fence to the east parking lot of Cintas.  Once inside, the suspect(s) entered a work vehicle and took a rolling toolbox containing a variety of hand and power tools valued at approximately $455.

G Man USA located at 6704 Parke East Boulevard was also broken into between April 25, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. and April 26, 2016 at 6:00 a.m. after unknown suspect(s) cut a hole in the fence, entered and removed approximately 9 designer hats, 9 boxes of shirts, 6 boxes of shorts and 1 silver-colored dolly.
