On May 1, 2017 at 1:42 am, an unknown black male waited for a female to withdraw money from an ATM inside the Amscot located at 8409 Florida Avenue North in Tampa.  Once the victim had withdrawn the money, the suspect attacked her and took her cash.  The suspect fled on foot.  The suspect is a black male who was wearing all white.

On April 27, 2017 at 12:40 a.m., the victim, Curtis E. Thomas, 5/14/1977 was fatally shot by an unknown suspect(s) in front of Lake Avenue Liquors located at 2209 Lake Avenue East in Tampa.

TPD Detectives Work to ID Suspects Using Fraudulent Card at Sam's Club

On April 9, 2017 at 12:12 pm, two suspects entered the Sam`s Club located at 6642 Dale Mabry Highway South in Tampa and selected merchandise.  The suspects used a debit card number that had been compromised to purchase the items valued at $498.49.  The suspects were caught on surveillance video and are described as a Hispanic male, 5`09" to 6`, 180 lbs., short cropped brown hair, muscular build and wearing a brown/white shirt and dark capri pants.  The second suspect is a Hispanic female, 5`06" to 5`08", 180lbs., long black hair that was worn in a bun and wearing a pink shirt, pink and black spandex pants and a white hat.

On April 19, 2017 at 11:50 am an unknown subject approached the residence of 1120 Culbreath Isles Drive and took a Trek Mountain bike valued at approximately $500.  The stolen bicycle is hunter green and has a large beach style black seat.  The suspect is described as a black male, 30-45 yoa, thin build and wearing a white t-shirt and white cap.

TPD Detectives Want to Identify Suspects Shooting Out Car Windows to Gain Entry

STATUS: SOLVED

Update:  The Toyota Corolla has been recovered by law enforcement.

On April 20, 2017 between 2:00 am and 2:45 am, unknown suspects committed multiple vehicle burglaries within the Cordoba Beach Park Condominiums located at 114 Beach Haven Lane in Tampa.  Several of the vehicles were unlocked, however, the suspects forced entry into one vehicle by shooting out the vehicle`s windows.  Some of the stolen items have been recovered within various areas of Pinellas County.

Suspect #1 is described as a B/M, 16-24 yoa, muscular build, wearing a black t-shirt, camouflage pants, black sneakers and white gloves.  Suspect #2 is described as a B/M, 16-24 yoa, thin build, wearing a black t-shirt and shorts.   The suspects are believed to of been utilizing a newer Toyota Corolla with tinted windows.

TPD Detectives Search for Purse Thief

On April 3, 2017 an unknown white or Hispanic male entered the Winn Dixie store located at 2100 Swann Avenue West in Tampa and removed two purses from two different shopping carts while the victim`s back was turned.  The suspect was captured on store surveillance video and was wearing blue jeans and a camouflage shirt.  The purses were found behind the store, however, the cash inside had been taken.

PCPD Detectives Search for Cell Phone Thieves

On March 30, 2017 at 7:15 p.m., two black males entered the AT&T store located at 2513 Thonotosassa Road in Plant City, grabbed several phones that were on display and fled out the front door.  A witness observed the suspects enter a Dodge Charger, black in color, that had a dent on the right driver`s door and was being driven by a third black male.  The suspects fled southbound on Thonotosassa Road.  The two black males who entered the store were described as being in their early 20`s and wearing black stocking caps. One suspect was caught on store surveillance video.

Recently, an unknown black male was caught on surveillance camera taking a package from the front a home in Old Seminole Heights.  The black male suspect was wearing a blue shirt with "Swag Don`t Come Cheap" written on the front, blue jeans and a green hat.  The suspect fled on a bicycle.

TPD Detectives Want to Identify Suspect Using Stolen Credit Card

On March 31, 2017 at 1:19 p.m., during an armed robbery at 19th Street North and Powhttan Avenue in Tampa, an unknown black male suspect shot the victim.  Witnesses observed a black Kia Forte, 2015-2017 model, flee the scene.  Shortly after the robbery, an unknown subject used the victim`s stolen credit card at the Walmart and Wawa stores near Bearss Avenue and Nebraska Avenue.  An unknown female attempted to withdrawal money by using the stolen card at the Citgo ATM located at 2030 Fletcher Avenue East.

HCSO Detectives Want to Identify Suspect for Sex Offense
March 30, 2017

On March 14, 2017 at approximately 10:45 a.m., an unknown suspect was observed openly masturbating while parked at the gas pumps at the Wawa gas station located at 804 Bearss Avenue East in Tampa.  While seated in the back seat of his vehicle, he was able to make noises to get the attention of the victim, who was parked at the next gas pump over.  When the victim looked in the suspect`s direction, he "winked" at the victim, who then became scared and fled in her vehicle. 

The suspect is described as a black male, 18-35 yoa, approximately 5`08" to 6`, 170 to 200 lbs. and was wearing a black t-shirt with a red Nike symbol, multi-color sweatpants and black sneakers.  The suspect`s vehicle is an early 2000 Buick LeSabre, light purple in color, with large chrome rims on a lifted frame.
