Hillsborough County Sheriff`s Office detectives are investigating a business burglary that occurred on November 18, 2012, during the early morning hours at Alex`s Southern Style Bar B Q located at 5362 West Village Drive in Tampa. The unknown suspect used a large rock to break out the glass door of the business. Once inside, the suspect removed a plastic donation jar that contained an estimated $500.00 in donations. | | 11/4/2012 - Detectives Investigate Brandon Business Burglary | | |
On Nov 4, 2012, at approximately 12:24 am, an unknown suspect
shattered the front window at the Bloombox Smoke Shop located at 873 Bloomingdale Av W in Brandon and left the
scene without making entry. The suspect proceeded to the Mobile Gas Station at
936 Bloomingdale Av at approximately 12:30 am and purchased cigarettes. Video
surveillance captured the suspect at the store arriving and leaving on a
bicycle. The suspect returned to the Bloombox Smoke Shop, wearing a mask, and
gained entry through the shattered window. The suspect removed several drug
paraphernalia items, concealing them in a backpack, and fled the scene. The
suspect returned at approximately 1:56 am and again removed several drug
paraphernalia items, and fled.

Zephyrhills Publix Robbery - Pasco Sheriff`s detectives are searching for a man who robbed the Zephyrhills Publix liquor store yesterday at about 12:30 p.m. The man entered the store at 32765 Eiland Blvd., told the cashier he had a gun in his backpack, and left with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured in the robbery. The suspect is described as a white male about 30 years old, about 6 feet tall, weighing about 180 pounds, wearing a baseball cap, blue jeans and a grey shirt with an American flag on the front. WHERE: 8215 North 13th Street, Tampa, Living Word Fellowship
SUSPECT: Black male, 28-30 years old, 5`6"-5`11", 160-175 pounds, thin build, short hair, wearing green or gray T-shirt and blue jeans
VICTIM: 70 year old white female
DETAILS: The victim entered the Living Word Fellowship to retrieve a key to a rental home nearby. As she walked to the rental house, the suspect approached her and began asking her questions about the church. She walked back to the church and the suspect asked her if he could see the sanctuary. She unlocked the door and allowed him into the building. After a short period of time, the suspect placed his hand over the victim`s mouth, pushed her down onto a chair and committed a sexual act. He fled from the church on foot.

| | 8/24/2012 - HCSO Detectives Investigating Bloomingdale Vehicle Burglaries | | |
During the early morning hours of August 24, 2012, unknown suspect(s)
unlawfully entered three vehicles that were parked in front of various
Bloomingdale residences. The suspect(s) unlawfully removed wallets, including
credit cards, and a set of black jumper cables. A black male suspect was
captured on surveillance video within a few hours of the three burglaries at the
Circle K at 15th Street & Fowler Avenue in Tampa using one of the victim`s
stolen credit card to purchase Newport cigarettes. A black male associate also
entered and departed the store with the suspect, but did not use the stolen
credit card. The subjects arrived and departed in a white two door economy sized
vehicle, possibly a Honda.
Suspect: Hispanic / B/M, 6`-0
to 6`-03, large build, short dark hair, wearing long blue jean pants and a
multicolored shirt. Associate: Hispanic / B/M, 5`-07 to
5`-11, slim build long hair balled up in the back, wearing long blue jean pants,
black shirt, black hat. Vehicle: White 2 door economy sized
vehicle –possibly a Honda.

LOCATION: Nick’s Gyro & Subs, 3501 East Hillsborough Avenue, Tampa
SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: B/M, 6`0 baseball cap/scarf around face / dark clothing
DETAILS: The suspect approached the victim’s vehicle in the restaurant parking lot and fired into the driver’s side window. The female passenger was shot and died at the scene. The driver was shot as well, and survived. Detectives have determined that there were witnesses in the drive thru at the time of the shooting.

| | 4/10/2012 - HCSO Detectives Search for Homicide Suspects | |  |
Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and identity of the unknown suspects responsible for the shooting death of 21 year old Jarrett Eitson (pictured here) of Tampa. At approximately 12:07 am on March 31, 2012, deputies responded to the area of 56th Street and Harney Road in reference to a shooting. Deputies discovered the victim deceased at the scene. The victim and two friends (male and female) were leaving a nearby bar/lounge and walking back to their vehicle which was parked along the roadway when they were confronted by two, unknown black male suspects. The suspects were armed and attempted to rob the victims During the attempt robbery the victim was shot and died at the scene. The other two victims were not injured (were are not releasing their names at this time as they are also witnesses).
The only description of the suspects are that they are both black males, between 18-22 years of age, both armed with handguns. Possible vehicle description is a black or dark blue late 90s or early 2000 sedan with dark tinted windows.

Tampa Police detectives are working to identify a man who cashed two stolen checks at Bank of America ATM’s in Tampa and St. Petersburg. The blank checks were stolen from a vehicle parked outside a Tampa apartment complex during the early morning hours of March 6, 2012. Several days later an unidentified suspect was caught on the banks’ surveillance cameras cashing the checks.

| | 3/28/2012 - HCSO Homicide Detectives Attempting to Identify Individuals On Camera | | |
Hillsborough County Sheriff`s Office detectives investigating the homicide of 21 year old Sergio Gabriel Alexande Smith, which occurred on March 28, 2012, at approximately 2:51 am, are asking for the public`s assistance in identifying the individuals seen in the below surveillance photos. The victim`s body was found in the parking lot of the Avesta Apartments located at 2020 E 131st Avenue in Tampa. The photo was taken by one of the "Eye On Crime" cameras in the area of 131st Avenue and 22nd Street where the homicide occurred. Detectives believe the individuals seen in the photo were in the area around the time the homicide occurred and might have seen or heard something that could be beneficial to the case.

| | 3/6/2012 - Unsolved Homicide/Missing Persons Case!! | | December 16, 2011, was the last day family and friends had seen or spoken with either Kelly Moriarty or Doris Carter. The family of Ms. Carter witnessed the two leave Ms. Carter`s residence in Plant City, FL on December 16, 2011, in Kelly Moriarty`s vehicle. There has been no cell phone or credit/debt card activity since that day. The vehicle they were last seen in was found abandoned on December 17, 2011, on SR 62 in Parrish.
On December 27, 2011, the severed leg of Kelly Moriarty washed ashore in St. Petersburg, FL. Doris Carter, who is described as a Caucasian female, 62 years of age, 5`1", 110 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes, is still missing.
