12/23/2013 - Hillsborough County Detectives Attempting to Identify and Apprehend Robbery SuspectIN CUSTODY

On December 23, 2013 just after 1:30 pm, an unidentified man entered the Boost Mobile store and threatened to kill the store clerk if she did not hand over all the cash from the cash register. The suspect never displayed or implied he had a weapon, but out of fear the clerk turned over an undisclosed amount of money from the register. The suspect took the cash and fled the store. The unknown suspect is described as a white male, 25-35 year old, 5`10" - 6`2", 260-320 lbs, black hair, and was last seen wearing black t-shirt and white long shorts and white tennis shoes (see surveillance photo).

12/21/2013 - HCSO Detectives Searching For Bank of America Robbery Suspect

On December 21, 2013, at 12:17 p.m., a white male entered the Bank of America located at 13080 Racetrack Rd. He passed a note to the teller and received an undisclosed amount of money before leaving the scene on a motorcycle. The motorcycle was located a short time later in Pinellas County, but detectives are still searching for the suspect. The suspect is described as white male, 20-30 years of age, and was last seen wearing light jeans, a dark fake beard, grey hoodie, black gloves, sunglasses and a grey cap with palm trees (see surveillance photo).

DETAILS:
Tampa Police detectives are actively working to identify and arrest two
suspects who fatally injured a Yellow Cab driver. The two suspects called for a cab at around 7:45 p.m. on December 8 to take them to another location. While the suspects were en-route to their destination, they shot the cab driver and fled the scene near the intersection of Eskimo and 18th Street. The suspects` final destination is still unclear at this time.

DETAILS: The suspect approached the victim and demanded money at gunpoint. The victim gave the suspect his cellphone and his wallet and the suspect ran south. OIn the sureveillance video, the unknowwn suspect, seen wearing a baseball cap, dark colored shirt, and glove, can be seen walking towards the victim pointing a handgun at him.

12/2/2013 - Several Cars Burglarized on USF-Tampa Campus!!
On December 2, 2013, between 6:00pm and 7:28 pm, six vehicles were burlgarized in the southeast section of the USF-Tampa Campus. All of the vehicles were forcibly entered via shattered windows. A credit card that was stolen from one of the burglaries was used at the Bank of America ATM at the corner of Nebraska and Fowler Avenues, just a few miles west of where the burglaries occurred. Detectives from the USF Police Department were able to obtain surveillance photos of the unknown subject using the stolen credit card.

11/26/2013 - Crime Stoppers Offers up to $3,000 Reward in Shooting Case!!!
Hillsborough County Sheriff`s Office detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred at the Royal Oaks Apartments located at 7307 Casitas Court, Tampa.

At approximately 10:00 p.m. on November 24, 2013, a shooting occurred at the above address.  A security guard, while walking his rounds at the apartment
complex, confronted two individuals that were between two buildings.  The security guard told the individuals that they would have to leave, because they were trespassing. At that time, one of the individuals produced a gun and fired several shots at the security guard, striking him twice, in the torso and in the hand.  The suspects then fled the scene.   The security guard was transported to the hospital where detectives were able to interview him.

Shooter - Hispanic male, approximately 5`7", wearing a gray hoodie.

Suspects Seen Shoplifting At Dollar General

On November 3, 2013 at 5:37 p.m., a black female and a black male entered the Dollar General located at 459 W. Brandon Blvd. in Brandon. The female concealed men`s undershirts in her purse and the male concealed men`s undershirts in his jeans. Both suspects then exited the store without paying for the items. They were seen leaving in a newer model, white 4-door Toyota
Corolla.

Suspects:
1. Black female, 22-29 years of age, 5`6", 160 lbs., dark complexion, medium build and black hair. Last seen wearing a brown jacket and a long, colorful dress.
2.Black male, 30-49 years of age, 6`4", 180 lbs., medium complexion, medium build and gray hair. Last seen wearing a short-sleeved, green button down shirt and jeans.

Vehicle: Newer model, white, 4 door, Toyota Corolla

11/25/2013 - Suspect Steals Clubhouse`s Flat Screen TV
On October 22, 2013 at approximately 12:27 a.m., a white male entered the clubhouse of the Addison Apartments located at 10328 Venitia Real Ave. in Tampa. Several minutes later, a white female entered the clubhouse and shortly after another white male entered and sat down. The three subjects sat around talking for about 10-15 minutes. Then, the first male that entered the clubhouse was seen placing a paper over the security camera lens. The security camera in the hallway captured the male leaving with the clubhouse`s 55” flat screen television.

The suspect is described as a white male, 22-25 years of age, 5`8”-6`, 160-170 lbs., medium build and short dark hair. Last seen wearing a gray collared shirt, black shorts, black athletic shoes and dark-rimmed glasses.

11/18/2013 - Auto Parts Store Robbed at Gunpoint!

UPDATE: The FBI and ATF are offering an additional $10,000 reward for information leading the to the identification and arrest of the suspect in this series of commercial armed robberies that have occurred both within the city of Tampa and unincorporated Hillsborough County.  
 
Tampa Police Detectives are currently investigating an armed robbery of a business that occurred last night, November 18, 2013, at about 8:27 pm at Advanced Auto Parts, 8605 N. Florida Avenue in Tampa.The suspect entered the business with a handgun and demanded money from the register. However, he did not get any money because they had already closed out. The unknown suspect, pictured below, is described as a black male, 6’-6’2” tall, 210-220 lbs., large build, wearing a dark ski mask, and a dark sweatshirt with the hood pulled up.
Investigators believe this robbery may be related to a series of commerical robberies that have been occuring in both the city of Tampa and uninicorporated Hillsborough County.

11/17/2013 - Victims Narrowly Survive Robbery After Being Shot
The victims were walking to their vehicle in the area of 15th Street and 2nd
Avenue in Ybor City on Sunday, November 17, 2013, at approximately 12:30am when they were approached by two, unknown suspects. The male suspect demanded money from the male victim and the victim complied. The female suspect approached the female victim, who was in the vehicle and the two began to argue. The female suspect pulled the female victim from the vehicle and a struggle ensued. At that time, the male suspect and the male victim ran to their respective female partners` aid. The during the struggle between the two women, the female suspect shot the female victim in the abdomen. The male suspect, who was also armed with a handgun, shot the male victim in the chest and then shot the female victim who was lying on the ground, grazing her. Both suspects fled on foot. The victims were transported to the hospital were they are in stable condition.
Suspect # 1 is described as a B/M, early 20’s, dark complexion, average build, 5’5"-5’8", long dreads pulled back and last seen wearing dark shorts, dark jacket, and armed with small caliber semi-automatic.
Suspect #2 is described as a B/F, early 20’s, 220-250lbs, obese and was last seen wearing a dark jacket and was rmed with small caliber semi-automatic.

11/12/2013 - Unidentified Suspect Steals Money and Laptop from Daycare Center

DATE/TIME: November 12, 2013 at 9:13 p.m.

LOCATION: Achievement Center for Early Learning, 4601 Busch Boulevard, Tampa

Tampa Police officers are working to identify a suspect who broke into a local daycare on November 12. Shortly after 9 p.m., the suspect shattered a window on the east side of the building to get inside of the child care center. He is seen on video surveillance walking through the business and into an office area where he spent several minutes rummaging through desk drawers and trying to pry open a safe. The suspect stole a laptop and a cash deposit box containing $30 that he found inside one of the drawers. He was unable to open the safe. As he was leaving the daycare, he took a book bag from the children`s play area and used it to hide the items he stole.The suspect is described as a B/M, 20-25 years old, facial hair, 5`8"-5`10," approximately 170 pounds, wearing a red baseball hat, black t-shirt, black jeans and white Nike Air Force Ones sneakers.

Tampa Police Department detectives are looking for a B/M suspect, approx. 5’7 – 5’11 with a heavy build. The suspect, pictured below, committed an armed robbery of the Papa Johns, located at 9340 Florida Av N, on 11/4/13 at approximately 7:36 PM. The suspect then committed a second armed robbery of the Subway, located at 1819 Fowler Ave E, on 11/4/13 at approximately 8:05 PM.

Suspects:
#1  Black male, mid 30`s, 5`10"m 200 - 225 lbs., black hair, and pock marked face. Last seen wearing: black Nike baseball cap, dark sunglasses, and dark jacket
over a dark gray shirt, black gloves, black pants and dark shoes.

# 2  Hispanic male, early 30`s, 5` - 6`, 225 - 250 lbs., black hair, pot belly. Last seen wearing:  Blue/orange baseball cap, dark sunglasses, gray jacket, black gloves, dark pants and black shoes.

Hillsborough County Sheriff`s Office detectives are asking for the public`s assistance in identifying the two suspects seen in the surveillance photo/videos.

On October 18, 2013 at approximately 10:20 a.m. the suspects entered the T-Mobile store located at 815 West Brandon Blvd. in Brandon.  Once inside the store one of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded cash and property from the three employees and two customers inside the store.  The suspect fired one shot into the floor during the robbery.  After obtaining and
undisclosed amount of money and property, they exited through the back door of the business and fled in an unknown direction.

10/13/2013 - Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card!!!

Tampa Police detectives are investigating a fraud case at a local Walmart. On Oct. 13, 2013, at approximately 8:30pm, an unknown, black male suspect entered the Walmart located at 8885 Florida Avenue N in Tampa and attempted to use 5 different credit cards to purchase gift cards. The suspect was successful with two of the accounts for a loss of over $500. The suspect (pictured below) then flees the scene. Later, the same suspect attempted to use one of the credit cards at Thornton`s located at 4103 Gunn Highway in North Tampa. Detectives believe that the cards that were used were counterfeit cards containing legitimate credit card numbers that were skimmed or duplicated.

10/9/2013 - Attempted Arson Suspect Sought!!!
Tampa PD Detectives and Tampa Fire Investigators are currently investigating an attempted arson that occurred on Sept 12, 2013, at approximately 11:56 pm at 4808 43rd Street N in Tamp. An unknown black male suspect, pictured below, attempted to enter the residence through the front and rear doors as well as several windows. When his attempts failed, he set on the of the home`s A/C unit on fire. During this incident, the black male suspect was accompanied by an unknown black female, whom investigations are trying to identifiy as well.
