5/4/2016 - HCSO Detectives Work to Identify Liquor Store Robbery SuspectSOLVED

On May 1, 2016 at 8:54 p.m., an unknown subject entered the Star Liquor Store located at 13192 Highway 301 South in Riverview and showed the clerk a semi-automatic handgun while demanding money along with a single pack of cigarettes.  The suspect is described as a white Hispanic male, 25-29 years of age, 6`02", 190 lbs., black hair, brown eyes and last seen wearing a white long sleeve shirt, dark colored basketball shorts with white stripes, black Nike sneakers and a black Chicago Bulls ball cap.

5/3/2016 - HCSO Detectives are Asking for Information on Afternoon Shooting

On May 3, 2016 at approximately 4:02 p.m., a shooting occurred in the parking lot of the Del Rio Apartment complex located at 6804 50th Street North in Tampa.  The victim and suspect engaged in a verbal altercation which escalated to the suspect shooting the victim multiple times.  The victim has been transported to a local hospital.  The suspect has been described as a light skinned black male with multiple tattoos.

5/2/2016 - FHP is Asking for Information on Overnight Fatal Hit and Run

On May 2, 2016 at 11:07 a.m., FHP received information regarding a deceased person who was located along northbound Interstate 75 near the 240 Milepost just north of Sun City Center.  Investigators believe that a Fatal Hit and Run crash occurred overnight.  A 38 year old male pedestrian had been struck and killed.  The driver of the suspect vehicle fled the scene of the crash.  Troopers are searching for a black F150, F250 or Expedition type vehicle that may have damage to the right front of the vehicle and a flat tire.

5/2/2016 - Pasco Detectives Investigate Theft of Firearms at Armory

On May 1, 2016 between 2:53 a.m. and 2:57 a.m., three unknown suspects wearing hoods and gloves broke the lighting outside of Grey Wolf`s Armory located at 32733 Eiland Boulevard in Wesley Chapel.  The suspects knocked a hole in the east side of the business.  Once inside, the suspects crawled around to avoid the surveillance cameras and security system.  The suspects took 30 handguns, 2 long guns and 1 sniper rifle.

4/29/2016 - HCSO Detectives Seek Information on Stolen Equipment

Between April 23, 2016 at 1:00 a.m. and April 25, 2016 at 9:00 a.m., unknown suspect(s) cut a hole in the chain link fence to the east parking lot of Cintas located at 7101 Parke East Boulevard in Tampa.  Once inside, the suspect(s) took several large pieces of equipment to include an American Forge & Foundry 3598 10-Ton Lift, a KAI VAC 500 psi KAI AC Machine, a Cintas Safewasher Smart Washer Model 23, an Autometer BVA-36 Charging Analyzer (not pictured) and a Flexi Pro Sprayer.

 

Between April 26, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. and April 27, 2016 at 9:00 a.m., unknown suspect(s) cut a second hole in the chain link fence to the east parking lot of Cintas.  Once inside, the suspect(s) entered a work vehicle and took a rolling toolbox containing a variety of hand and power tools valued at approximately $455.

G Man USA located at 6704 Parke East Boulevard was also broken into between April 25, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. and April 26, 2016 at 6:00 a.m. after unknown suspect(s) cut a hole in the fence, entered and removed approximately 9 designer hats, 9 boxes of shirts, 6 boxes of shorts and 1 silver-colored dolly.

4/29/2016 - HCSO Deputies Search for Circle K Robbery Suspect

On April 27, 2016 at 3:11 a.m., an unknown white male entered the Circle K located at 6009 Highway 579 in Seffner with a plastic grocery bag over his head and a blanket wrapped around his arm and hand.  The suspect demanded money from the clerk and entered the area behind the counter.  The suspect battered the victim by striking her multiple times in the head.  During the altercation, the victim struck the suspect in the head with a milk crate causing a laceration to his forehead above his right eyebrow.  The suspect took multiple packs of cigarettes and currency before fleeing the store on foot.  The suspect was described as a white male, 40-50 years of age, thin build, short brown hair and wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans.

On April 21, 2016 at approximately 7:50 p.m., an unknown suspect broke into the residence at 2114 99th Avenue in Tampa by entering through the dog door.  The suspect was later observed on store surveillance footage at the Xnax Food Store located at 2113 Linebaugh Avenue East.

4/26/2016 - HCSO Deputies Want to Identify Battery SuspectSOLVED

On April 23, 2016 at approximately 5:00 p.m., the victim was involved in a verbal argument with those associated with the pictured boat on Beer Can Island in Apollo Beach.  After the heated verbal exchange between the victim and the unknown black male, the victim began to walk away.  When the victim turned away, the black male suspect struck the victim in the face with a closed fist causing the victim to sustain a broken jaw.  The suspect fled the area in a 18`-22` center console boat with "Vida Loca Baby" written on the side, a red top and having a gray unknown HP boat motor.

             

                    

The black male suspect is described as being 20-25 years of age, thin build, short black hair and wearing khaki shorts.

On April 25, 2016 at 7:48 p.m., James Reche Simmons Jr., black male, 7/13/1967, was found deceased in his residence of 3805 East Curtis Street in Tampa.  The victim`s 2005 blue Chevrolet Cobalt bearing FL tag X981JA is missing.  Detectives are asking for information from the public regarding the unknown suspect(s).

4/26/2016 - HCSO Deputies Look for Walmart Shoplifting Duo

On April 23, 2016 at 2:55 a.m., two unknown subjects entered the Walmart store located at 1208 East Brandon Boulevard in Brandon, selected high dollar value electronics and concealed them in the female`s purse.  The same suspects returned the following day at approximately the same time and stole additional items.  The total value of the stolen items is $420.  The suspects fled the store in a dark gray or green older model Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The white male is believed to be 18 years of age, dirty blonde or brown hair and was wearing a camouflage jacket and Crocs and a white/black trucker hat.  The white female is believed to be 18 years of age, blonde hair and was wearing a red shirt and carrying a white purse.

4/25/2016 - TPD Detectives Work to Identify New Tampa Vehicle Burglar

On April 22, 2016 at 10:30 p.m., the victim parked his unlocked work van in the Chick-fil-A parking lot at 17513 Bruce B Downs Boulevard in New Tampa while he worked at the location.  When the victim returned to his vehicle at 12:37 a.m., he discovered the van had been burglarized and his loaded 9mm Glock 19 w/ light attachment and a co-worker`s purse had been stolen.  Surveillance video revealed an unknown suspect entering the vehicle via the front passenger door at 12:17 a.m.  A stolen credit card was used shortly after the burglary at the Wawa located at 804 Bearss Avenue E.  Store surveillance video shows the suspect who used the stolen credit card at the Wawa and a picture of a red SUV that the suspect possibly fled in.

4/25/2016 - Pasco County Detectives Investigate Bank Robbery

On April 25, 2016 at approximately 10:15 a.m., an unknown subject entered the Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union located at 32745 Eiland Boulevard in Zephyrhills and demanded money from a teller.  The suspect fled the credit union on foot with nothing.  The suspect was described as a white male in his 30`s and was last seen wearing a long sleeve jean shirt, blue jeans, black shoes, a black/gray baseball hat and dark sunglasses.

4/21/2016 - HCSO Detectives Ask for Help Identifying Bike ThievesSOLVED

On April 20, 2016 at 6:10 pm, two unknown black male suspects stole the victim`s green Quickie Shark hand bike from the front of the Wawa located at 2325 Fletcher Avenue East in Tampa.  The bike is valued at approximately $2,000.  After taking the bike, the suspects fled west toward 22nd Street North. 

The suspects are described as:                                                                            1-black male, 16-21 years of age, 5`11", 130 lbs., black hair and last seen wearing a white t-shirt, khaki pants and a gold chain.

2-black male, 16-21 years of age, 5`11", 110 lbs., black dreads and last seen wearing a black t-shirt with "BACON" on the back, blue jeans and a red apron which could possibly be a fast food employee uniform

4/14/2016 - TTPD Ask for Information on Early Morning Homicide

On April 13, 2016 around 1:00 a.m., the victim, Kagan Dane McFarland, 31 years of age, was believed to have been walking home from the Lazy Brew Bar & Grill located at 11401 North 56th Street in Temple Terrace.  Sometime after, a shooting occurred in the alley behind the CiCi`s Pizza located at 5771 East Fowler Avenue.  At 7:00 a.m. a passerby discovered McFarland laying on the ground in the parking lot of Coca-Cola Enterprises located at 5901 East Fowler Avenue.  McFarland had suffered from multiple gun shot wounds.  On April 14, 2016 Kagan McFarland died as a result of his injuries.
