11/16/2014 - Game Stop Robbed at Gunpoint!!SOLVED

On Sunday, November 16, 2014, at approximately 1:47 PM, an unknown white male entered the Game Stop at 2539 N Dale Mabry Hwy N in Tampa, pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at the clerks and demanded money. Once he received the money from the clerks, he ordered them to the back of the store and he fled out the front door.

 

The suspect, pictured here, is described as a white male, 200-210 pounds, 6’ – 6’2” tall, and was last seen wearing a white and red Buccaneers (Flag on the front) hat, gray short sleeve Gators T-shirt (Orange Gator on the front), baggie blue jeans, and dark shoes (possible hiking shoes).

11/5/2014 - TPD Detectives Need Help Identifying Armed Burglary Suspects

On November 4, 2014, 2 black males forced entry into a residence located at 3006 Norfolk St. E, Tampa after they jumped the northeast fence of the property.  Once inside, the suspects stole 2 firearms which were a black Bushmaster M4 (.556) rifle (valued at $1,000) with two 30 round magazines and a black Glock .9mm semi automatic (valued at $600) with one 10 round magazine.  In addition, a black 55” Samsung SmartTV flat screen was taken valued at $5,500.  The entire house was ransacked and the victim may be missing several items of property to include miscellaneous jewelry, etc.  The pictured suspects were observed on a CCTV surveillance system inside the victim`s residence.  Both black males appear to be in their late 20`s to early 30`s with medium builds.  They both have a mustache/beard/goatee combination.  One suspect  is wearing a dark possible 76`ers basketball hat and the other a white beanie.  The suspect wearing a white beanie appears to have a tattoo under his right eye and tattoo`s on both sides of his neck.

10/18/2014 - HCSO Investigates Jewelry Theft at Brandon Mall

Details:
On October 18, 2014, at 3:37 p.m., a white male suspect entered the Zales located at 615 Brandon Town Center Drive in the Brandon Town Center Mall. The suspect requested to view a 14 karat gold chain valued at $8,000.00. The suspect then grabbed the chain and ran out of the store.
 
 Suspect:
White male, 5`8", 170 lbs., last seen wearing a black t-shirt, a thin gray jacket, dark jeans, dark sneakers and a black and red hat.

10/13/2014 - TPD & HCSO Detectives Need Assistance Identifying a Serial Robbery SuspectSOLVED

On the afternoon of October 13, 2014 during a short time span, an unknown suspect robbed 3 local businesses in western Hillsborough County.  First, the Walgreens located at 6818 N. Armenia Ave, Tampa, second, the Wells Fargo Bank located at 3918 W. Hillsborough Ave, Tampa and then the CVS located at 6401 N. Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa.

The suspect is described as:  white male, 40-45 years of age with a white scruffy beard and facial stubble.  He was wearing a green USF Bulls baseball cap with tan on the front panel, a white button down long sleeve dress type shirt, blue jeans and an old pair of sneakers.  The suspect appeared to be shaking and sweating profusely during the robberies when he demanded cash and prescription drugs.  (see below photos)

   

The getaway vehicle is a 1999-2002, maroon, GMC or Chevrolet pickup truck, crew cab quarter door truck with damage to the left truck bed and the front left wheel is missing the center wheel cover.  There is a “My child is an Honor Student” type sticker in green on the center of the tail gate.  The robbery suspect entered the passenger side of the truck which was being driven by an unknown subject.  (see below photo)

10/7/2014 - TPD Detectives need Assistance Identifying Bank Robbery SuspectSOLVED

On October 7, 2014 at approximately 12:30 pm, an unknown suspect robbed the USF Federal Credit Union located at 6417 E. County Line Rd., Lutz.  The suspect, described as:  black male, in his 20`s, approx. 5`08"-5`09" in height and 160-170 pounds, passed a note to the teller demanding cash.  The unknown suspect, (pictured below) was wearing a Philadelphia Phillies baseball cap, white t-shirt, navy blue basketball shorts and gray tennis shoes and fled the scene southbound on a dark blue mountain bike.  Detectives are not sure if related, but a 2013-2014 Toyota Camry, silver in color, (pictured below) was observed driving slowly through the credit union parking lot during the robbery.          Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspect in this case. 10/3/2014 - TPD Detectives Need Assistance Identifying Store Robbery Suspect

On October 2, 2014 at approx. 10:07 am, an unknown suspect robbed the Jay Discount Food Store located at 7529 Armenia Av. N., Tampa.  On two separate occasions the suspect requested cigarettes or brought food to the front counter but left prior to paying for the items.  On his third visit, the suspect had the clerk ring up $17 worth of merchandise before he told her he had no money to pay for the items.  When the clerk voided the transaction, the cash drawer opened slightly at which time the suspect demanded the cash.  The clerk fled the store and the suspect grabbed the cash from the register and fled on foot.
 
The suspect is described as:  black male, 5`10", medium build, short black hair and having 3-4 days of facial hair growth.  (See photo below)

9/30/2014 - HCSO Detectives Need Assistance Identifying Fraud Suspect

On August 8-10, 2014 between 11:02 am and 2:47 am, an unknown black male suspect uttered and deposited counterfeit checks that were drawn on a JP Morgan Chase Bank business account.  The checks were deposited into a personal Suncoast Credit Union checking account without the account holders knowledge or permission.  The suspect made ATM withdrawals and Point of Sale transactions which ultimately resulted in a financial loss to the credit union.
 
The suspect is described as:  black male, 20`s, 5`10" to 6`0", 170-200 pounds and last seen wearing a grey hooded sweat shirt with a black ball cap with the letter "B" on the front.  (See below photos)

9/25/2014 - Pasco County Detectives Need Assistance Identifying Shooting Suspect(s)
On September 1, 2014 at approx. 10:40 pm, several subjects became involved in a physical altercation outside the Cooper`s Bar located at 13500 Center St., Dade City.  During the altercation, victims Kristopher Hicks, 21yoa and Juan Harris, 31yoa were shot with a large caliber handgun by an unknown suspect(s).  A suspect has been described as:  black male, approx. 5`9", heavy build with facial hair.

9/22/2014 - TPD Needs Assistance in Identifying Burglary Suspect

On September 17, 2014 at approx. 1:34pm, an unknown suspect entered the property located at 201 W. North St., Tampa and removed the screen to the office window.  After opening the window the audible alarm sounded at which time the suspect fled southbound.  Prior to opening the window the suspect sat in a chair on the front porch and put on gloves. 
The suspect is described as:  black male, 18-25 years old, approx. 160-175 pounds and was wearing a white t-shirt, black undershirt, white or tan cargo shorts and black shoes.  The suspect was also wearing a black baseball cap that had a reflective sticker and a black backpack.

9/19/2014 - TPD Detectives Need Your Help to Identify Residential Burglary Suspect

On September 18, 2014 at approx. 1:09 pm, an unknown white male knocked on the front door of a residence on Robson St. E., Tampa and told the 87 year old elderly resident that he knew she lived alone and he was going to cut some tree limbs in the back yard for TECO.  The suspect lured the victim out of her home, walked with her around the side of the house and pointed to trees in her backyard that he intended to trim.  Several minutes later, the suspect received a cell phone call from an unknown person and said something to the effect of "Momma, I can`t talk right now" and hung up the phone.  He immediately left in a newer model Buick Enclave SUV, silver in color, see below photo.  Upon the victim returning inside, she discovered that her possessions were rummaged through and some jewelry was taken.  The suspect is described as being in his early 30`s, 5`2" - 5`5", black beard, clean cut, "nice looking" and wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt.

9/16/2014 - HCSO Detectives Need Help Identifying Business Robbery Suspects

On September 11, 2014 at approx. 9:19 pm, two unknown black male suspects robbed the Family Dollar Store located at 5519 78th St. S., Tampa by demanding money.  One suspect fired a round into the floor after becoming impatient.  After the suspects received the money they fled southeast on foot.
 
The larger suspect is described as: in his 20`s, 5"9"-5"11", 210-230 pounds, wearing a red hat, red bandana, red sweatshirt, long dark pants, white tennis shoes, purple gloves and armed with a chrome short barreled revolver.  The other suspect is described as: in his 20`s, 5"9"-5"11", 150-170 pounds, wearing a black dew rag, white facial covering, white long sleeve t-shirt, long camo pants, dark shoes and purple gloves.

9/12/2014 - HCSO Detectives Need the Public`s Help Regarding a Missing Endangered Adult

HCSO detectives are asking for information from the public regarding Octavio Reyes, white male, 2/26/1978, who was reported missing.  Reyes was last seen wearing a green plaid shirt, blue jeans and green pointed toed boots.  He had been seen by a family member at the Walmart on Gibsonton Drive in Riverview on August 30, 2014 at approx. 10:20pm.  His truck was located on August 31, 2014 on Shell Point Road in Ruskin and had been burned.

9/12/2014 - TPD Detectives are Searching for Business Burglary Suspects

During the early morning hours of July 17, 2014, unknown suspects attempted to enter the Gilder Coin Shop located at 5802 N. Armenia Ave., Tampa by prying open the back door.  The 4 unidentified males used power tools and a pry bar but were unsuccessful gaining entry to the business.  The suspects fled in a 2006-2012 4-door silver Chevrolet Impala.  Neighboring surveillance footage captured a larger, possibly Hispanic male with long dreadlocks and wearing camo pants and the other suspects to be wearing hoods and masks.  See below photos.

9/11/2014 - TPD Detectives Attempting to Identifying Bank Robbery Suspect

On September 4, 2014 at 2:32pm, an unknown black male, early to mid 20`s, 5`5", stocky build, wearing a black BB cap, black bandana wrapped around his face, a red, silky Air-Jordan jacket, black and purple long shorts and armed with a T-0 with black 9mm semi-auto handgun with extended magazine entered the First Florida Integrity Bank located at 4404 W. Kennedy Blvd., Tampa.   The suspect immediately said, "Quickly, give me the money or I`ll shoot you and myself."  He then shot one round into the ceiling and demanded that the employees get on the ground.  A victim was attempting to access money via a touchscreen computer.  The suspect was yelling for her to hurry, but her hands were shaking and she was having problems putting in the proper commands on the screen. The suspect rifled through drawers of a desk while waiting then fled the bank without getting any currency.

9/10/2014 - TPD Detectives Searching for Man Suspected of Committing Robbery & Sexual Battery

Tampa Police Department Detectives are working 2 cases involving an unknown armed black male.  A Hillsborough County Sheriff`s Office sketch artist worked with TPD and one of the robbery victims to develop a composite sketch for the robbery suspect.  Due to the similarity in the descriptions, detectives are working leads to determine if these two cases are related.

1st Case:
When:  9/7/2014 at 4:30 a.m.
Where:  2700 block of 13th Street North, Tampa
Suspect:  black male, 25-30 yoa, 5`8 - 5`11, 190lbs, average build, dark skin, short black hair, last seen wearing a baggie white t-shirt and baggie black athletic shorts
Details:  The suspect entered the residence through the unlocked front door with two of the victims inside.  He pointed a gun and demanded money.  Two additional victims entered the home and the suspect turned and pointed the gun at them.  He took money and fled.

2nd Case
When:  9/9/2014 at 7:52 a.m.
Where:  East Columbus Drive and I-275, Tampa
Suspect:  black male, 25-28 yoa, 5`8" - 5`11", medium to dark skin, medium build, last seen wearing a black bandana, dark shirt and jeans
Details:  The armed suspect forced his way into the victim`s home, bound the victim`s hands and committed a sexual assault.  The suspect fled the home and the victim was able to bang on her wall to get her neighbor`s attention who then called law enforcement.
