3/13/2017 - HCSO Detectives Ask for Information from the Public in Lithia KidnappingSOLVED

On March 11, 2017 at approximately 9:05 p.m. at the Walgreens located at 5605 Fishhawk Crossing Boulevard in Lithia a witness observed an adult white female screaming for help.  The female appeared to have her hands tied behind her back and the male was observed to force the female into the vehicle.  The vehicle was described as a dark blue 2009 Saturn Outlook, 4-door SUV, bearing FL tag #GLHM32.  The vehicle`s registered owner is Alisa Summers, white female, 4/23/1979.  The suspect was identified as Trevor Steven Summers, white male, 6/20/1977.

3/13/2017 - PCPD Detectives Want to ID Female Fraud Suspect

Between December 12-14, 2016 an unknown female forged and cashed two bank checks at Suncoast Credit Union located at 1905 Alexander Street South in Plant City.  The female suspect used the identity of another female whose purse had been stolen during a vehicle burglary on December 9, 2016 in Pasco County.  The female suspect used the drive through lane furthest from the teller window to conduct the transaction.  The suspect is described as a white female, early 20`s with long dark hair and was believed to be driving a dark colored Dodge Charger.

On March 8, 2017 at approximately 4:05 a.m., two suspects used pry bars to break into the concession stand, office and equipment storage room at Oscar Cooler Sports Complex located at 770 Lutz Lake Fern Road West.  The suspects took approximately $1,000 in cash, $1,000 worth of sporting equipment and $1,500 in food.  They also caused approximately $2,000 in property damage.  It is believed that the suspects loaded the items into a vehicle that was parked on the west side of Crooked Lane, south of Lutz Lake Fern Road West.  Both suspects are described as unknown race males, in their 20`s, under 6`, 150 lbs. and they were wearing a light color hooded sweatshirt, tennis shoes, jeans and gloves.

3/9/2017 - TPD Detectives Want to Identify Suspect Who Used Counterfeit Credit Cards

Between 10:00 p.m. on January 31, 2017 and 12:30 a.m. on February 1, 2017 an unknown male used the ATM at the US America Bank located at 1921 Dale Mabry Highway South in Tampa four different times.  The suspect attempted 232 withdrawals using numerous account numbers for an attempted amount in excess of $51,000.  The suspect successfully made 65 withdrawals totaling over $14,500.  During the transactions the suspect utilized two different vehicles, a newer model Hyundai Santa Fe and a newer Nissan Rogue, both silver in color.  The suspect was captured on the ATM surveillance camera.

3/8/2017 - HCSO Deputies Look for Riverview Hit & Run Driver

On March 7, 2017 at approximately 5:48 a.m., a pick up truck struck a student who was walking to school along the south shoulder of Park Drive in Riverview.  The juvenile was on her way to a Hartline bus stop at Highway 301 and Balm Riverview Drive when she was struck by a passing westbound vehicle.  The driver of the truck fled the scene without stopping and failed to render first aid.  Parts left at the scene were identified as belonging to a 2005 Ford F250 XLT, possibly green in color.  The juvenile sustained non-life threatening injuries.

3/8/2017 - FHP Troopers Search for Driver Who Struck Bicyclist

On March 7, 2017 at 7:12 p.m., an unknown vehicle traveling westbound on Fivay Road approaching Library Road in Hudson struck a bicyclist as they passed by.  The bicyclist collided with a wooden bench on the north shoulder of the roadway.  The driver failed to remain at the scene and was last seen traveling westbound on Fivay Road.  The suspect vehicle is described as a light colored passenger car with damage to the front right and/or passenger side.

On March 6, 2017 at 10:45 a.m., an unknown black male convinced the victim to give him a ride from the Huracan Supermarket located at 402 Sligh Avenue East to an alley near the Coastal Gas Station located at 3115 Nebraska Avenue North where he took the keys from the ignition.  The suspect took the victim`s wallet and cell phone then ordered her out of the vehicle.  The suspect fled with the victim`s vehicle which was later recovered.

On January 26, 2017 at approximately 12:40 p.m., the body of Dontae Lampkins, 25 yoa, was found in an alley between Comanche Avenue East and Mohawk Avenue East in Seminole Heights as he sustained upper body trauma.  Lampkins was believed to have been murdered after he was robbed.  Investigators believe that Lampkins may have come in contact with the suspect using a social media dating app.  A video has been obtained that shows Lampkins boarding and exiting a HART bus on January 24, 2017.

3/7/2017 - HCSO Detectives Want to Identify Vehicle Burglary Suspects

On February 22, 2017 at 6:30 a.m., two suspects are caught on surveillance video entering an unlocked vehicle at 3719 Patina Drive in the Sugar Creek Neighborhood.  Detectives have received several reports of unlocked vehicle burglaries within the Tampa neighborhood.  Both suspects can be seen wearing hoodie sweatshirts and carrying a backpack.  The first suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, approximately 16-19 yoa, 5`07" to 5`10" and medium build.  The second suspect is a black or Hispanic male, approximately 17-20 yoa, 5`07" to 5`10", medium build and was wearing socks on his hands.

3/7/2017 - TPD Detectives Look for Hit and Run Suspect

During the early morning hours of March 6, 2017 a traffic crash occurred near Waters Avenue West and North Boulevard in Tampa.  The involved motorcyclist died as a result of the injuries he sustained in the crash.  The unknown driver of a red pick up truck fled the scene on foot after the crash.

3/3/2017 - TPD Detectives Ask for Information from the Public in Hyde Park Robbery

On February 16, 2017 at 1:30 a.m., two unknown suspects forcibly removed the victim through the rear door of The Drynk located at 302 Howard Avenue South in Tampa.  The victim was physically assaulted by the suspects and several items were taken from their person.  As a result of the investigation, Alexandria Seletos, 26 yoa, was arrested and charged.  The identity of the two male suspects involved with Seletos is still unknown.  The suspects were described as males, 5`10" to 6`, thin build and both were wearing a gray sweatshirt and black pants.  One suspect was wearing a white baseball cap.

2/28/2017 - HCSO Deputies Ask for Information in Prank at Movie Theater

On February 25, 2017 at 8:38 p.m., the fire extinguisher in theater #20 at Regal Cinemas located at 7999 Citrus Park Town Center Mall was activated causing carbon dioxide to spread throughout the theater.  As patrons attempted to exit the theater, they were unable to open the single door that led to the hallway.  The emergency exit near the movie screen had to be utilized.  Interviews revealed that the main entrance/exit to theater #20 was barricaded with a tensabarrier to prevent patrons from leaving.  Deputies are asking for information that would identify the unknown subject(s) involved in the prank.

2/28/2017 - HCSO Detectives Want to Identify Suspect Seen Breaking Into Multiple VehiclesSOLVED

On multiple dates between August 2016 and February 2017 an unknown male broke into multiple vehicles along the Adamo Drive corridor between 78th Street and Interstate 75 in Tampa.  On several occasions the suspect was captured on surveillance video popping the door locks with a screwdriver or breaking a window.  The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, 20-30 yoa, last seen wearing a ball cap and gloves.  On multiple occasions the suspect is wearing a #7 Notre Dame football jersey.  The suspect has utilized a bicycle and possibly a black Nissan Altima.

During the early morning hours of February 26, 2017, a pedestrian was struck and killed in Ybor City at 15th Avenue East and 15th Street North in Tampa.  The victim was identified as Jatha Royal, 36 yoa.  The suspect vehicle is believed to be a late 90`s to early 2000 Ford pickup that was being driven by a white or Hispanic male with dark hair.

2/27/2017 - Pasco Detectives Search for 7-Eleven Robbery Suspect

On February 15, 2017 an unknown subject entered the 7-Eleven gas station located at 15014 US Highway 19 in Hudson while wearing a mask.  The suspect, while armed with a black and silver handgun, approached the store clerk and demanded cash.  The suspect was described as a white male, 5`06" to 5`10", thin build, wearing a long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, brown shoes, a ski mask and goggles.
