6/12/2017 - HCSO Detectives Work to Identify Robbery Suspect Armed with a Knife

On June 11, 2017 at approximately 3:37 am, an unknown black male entered the Race Trac store located at 12750 Hillsborough Avenue West in Tampa while wearing a stocking over his face.  The suspect brandished a knife and demanded money.  The black male suspect was described as being 5`09" to 6`0" and was wearing a New York Yankees baseball cap with a camouflage brim, long sleeve gray shirt, black pants and sneakers.  After receiving cash from the registers the suspect fled the store.

6/9/2017 - HCSO Detectives Search for Stolen BoatCLOSED

On May 26, 2017 at approximately 10:30 am, three unknown suspects took a 12 foot Tracker boat, Model 1236 Topper with a Motor Guide trolling motor, Model R3/X3, 38 Pound Thrust with two deep cycle marine batters, one five gallon marine fuel can and fishing tackle from 1025 Apollo Beach Boulevard.  The value of the stolen property is $1,358.  The suspects were caught on surveillance video and are described as black males, two between 25-30 yoa and one between 45-50 yoa.

On June 3, 2017 at approximately 9:53 p.m., two black males entered the Family Dollar located at 11707 Williams Road in Thonotosassa and forced the clerks behind the counter while demanding the cash register be open.  A heavy set B/M, mid 20`s, 6`0", 250 lbs., dark complexion, was wearing a black shirt pulled over the back of his head, blue jean shorts and black sneakers and was armed with a silver over black semi-automatic firearm.  The second suspect, a B/M, mid 20`s, 5`08", 180 lbs., light complexion, thin build was wearing a black hoodie, camo shorts, black sneakers and white gloves with the fingers cut out.   The suspects took cash from the register then fled.

On May 16, 2017 at approximately 1:15 p.m., two black males entered the La Segunda Bakery located at 2512 15th Street North in Tampa and selected food to purchase.  One of the males passed a counterfeit $50 bill to pay for their purchase.  When the clerk determined the bill was fake, the male left the bakery on foot while the other male remained inside.  The suspect is described as a black male, 5`09", 170 lbs. and was wearing a purple/yellow LA Lakers hat, white t-shirt and jean shorts.  Both subjects arrived at the bakery in a newer model, 4-door Mercedes Benz, possibly gray in color.

6/8/2017 - Dade City PD Ask for Information from the Public in Hit and Run

On June 7, 2017 at approximately 3:00 p.m., near the intersection of US Highway 301 and Morningside Drive in Dade City, the driver of a newer model, dark burgundy vehicle, possibly a Chevrolet Impala, struck the victim`s vehicle which was exiting the Save-A-Lot parking lot.  As a result of the crash, the 76 year old female passenger was taken to the hospital.  According to witnesses, the driver was described as a black female, early 20`s, approximately 6`, thin build and was wearing a tan dress with stripes below the knee.  The suspect driver was seen checking her vehicle for damage, after which she returned to her vehicle.  The suspect then fled in an unknown direction after failing to exchange information.  The suspect vehicle may have damage to the front or grill area.

5/30/2017 - TPD Detectives Want to Identify Boost Mobile Burglary Suspect

On May 25, 2017 at 4:54 am, an unknown suspect used a large rock to smash the glass in the front door of the Boost Mobile store located at 3502 Nebraska Avenue North, Suite A in Tampa.  The suspect came from the area of Borrell Park.  The suspect can be seen on surveillance video entering the store through the bottom of the broken glass door.  Once inside, the suspect used the same rock to damage the display cases.  The suspect selected phones, Bluetooth speakers and cash from the register, then fled the store.  The tall suspect was wearing a light colored Nike sweatshirt, dark pants, shoes, gloves and has facial hair.

5/22/2017 - TPD Detectives Want to Identify Suspect Using Stolen Credit Cards from Tampa Gym

On January 12, 2017 at the LA Fitness located at 1510 Swann Avenue West in Tampa, an unknown suspect entered the victim`s locker and took credit cards from his wallet.  The stolen credit cards were used at several stores in Tampa and Clearwater.  An unknown white male in his early to mid 40`s was caught on surveillance video at the Apple store in International Mall and the Best Buy at 1725 Dale Mabry Highway North.  The fraudulent purchases have exceeded $5,000.

On May 14, 2017 between 3:00 pm and 5:30 pm, an unknown suspect entered the victim`s vehicle while it was parked at 8002 Citrus Park Town Center Mall and took a credit card and personal items.  Shortly after, an unknown white male was captured on surveillance video using the stolen credit card at the Best Buy located at 12675 Citrus Plaza Drive.  The suspect is described as a white male, 25-35 yoa, 5`08" to 5`10", 170 lbs., bald/shaved head, goatee, tattoos on both arms and possibly neck and was wearing a white t-shirt, tan shorts, white/black tennis shoes and black sunglasses.

On March 11, 2017 at 6:05 pm, an unknown white male used someone else`s credit card to make a purchase of $19.48 for food at the Chipolte located at 533 Howard Avenue South in Tampa.  The suspect was caught on video making the purchase and was wearing a black polo shirt with sunglasses on the top of his head.

On March 12, 2017 at 1:17 pm, the same suspect made another purchase of $12.96 for items at the Starbucks located at 715 Howard Avenue South.  The suspect can be seen on video making the purchase while wearing a light blue collard shirt with sunglasses on top of his head.

5/17/2017 - Pasco Detectives Search for Home Invasion Suspects Who Shot the Victim`s Dog

On May 14, 2017 at approximately 10:30 pm, two unknown white males jumped the fence to a yard in the 7100 block of Dipaola Drive in Hudson.  The suspects shot one of the victim`s dogs causing life threatening injuries.  The armed suspects, who were wearing ski masks, entered the residence through a rear room and ordered the victims to the ground while demanding drugs and money.  The suspects took items from the residence then fled.  The injured dog had to be euthanized due to the extent of his injuries.

5/15/2017 - Pasco Detectives Search for Shooting Suspects

On May 14, 2017 at approximately 7:24 pm, shots were fired into a large crowd of people at the Quail Hollow Country Club located at 6225 Old Pasco Road in Wesley Chapel.  As a result of the shooting, one person was shot and sustained non-life threatening injuries.  Detectives believe that there were six suspects who fired shots into the crowd using multiple types of guns.  The suspects were believed to of utilized the pictured white Hyundai Elantra with dark tinted windows and red wheels, which has been recovered by deputies.

5/15/2017 - Investigators Ask for Information from the Public in Arson at Mosque

On February 24, 2017 at 2:00 am, surveillance video captured an unknown male entering the property of The Islamic Society of New Tampa located at 15830 Morris Bridge Road on foot while carrying a large container and rope.  The subject attempted to ignite a rope sprayed with an ignitable liquid accelerant near a door on the northeast side of the Mosque.  After this failed, the subject poured a trail of what investigators believe was an ignitable liquid accelerant on the sidewalk which ignited.  The subject was able to ignite the container, which resulted in damage to the Mosque.  The suspect fled toward Morris Bridge Road undetected.  Gasoline has been confirmed to of been present at the fire.

5/11/2017 - HCSO Detectives Search for Auto Thieves in Dover

On May 9, 2017 at 3:25 am, three unknown white males broke into the property to the Quality Auto Shop located at 15628 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Dover.  Once inside, the suspects rummaged through several vehicles then took a 1998 Mercedes Benz E320, silver in color and a 1995 Ford F150, white in color with aluminum wheels.  The vehicles might have a dealer tag attached.  Surveillance video revealed a white male, brown hair and last seen wearing a white t-shirt, jean shorts and a blue hat. (See photo)  The other two suspects are white males wearing light colored clothing.

On November 11, 2016 at approximately 12:30pm, three unknown black females were inside the Perfect Piece Furniture store located at 2406 College Avenue East in Ruskin and took the victim`s purse from the counter while she was distracted.  The suspects left the store and approximately 45 minutes later the stolen credit cards were used at the Neighborhood Walmart located at 10327 Big Bend Road in Riverview.  The suspects arrived and left in what appears to be an older model 2-door Pontiac Grand Am, brown in color that had no hubcaps and damage to the rear passenger side.  The suspects were captured on store surveillance video using the victim`s stolen credit cards.  The suspects were described as black females ranging from 30-55 yoa.

On May 7, 2017 at approximately 6:52 pm, an unknown black male entered the office of the Mayflower Motel located at 7510 Florida Avenue North in Tampa and inquired if there were any room vacancies.  After the subject was told no, he pulled out a butcher knife and demanded cash.  The suspect fled on foot with the cash toward the Oaks at Riverview Apartment Complex located at 202 Broad Street E.  The suspect is described as a black male, bald and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and long dark shorts.
