HCSO Detectives Work to Identify Suspect(s) Responsible for Homicide in Wimauma (2017/11/13)

STATUS: OPEN
Just after 2:00 a.m. on November 12, 2017, Hillsborough County deputies responded to a disturbance and discovered an unresponsive male laying in the roadway in front of 3302 Maple Mex Street in Wimauma.  The victim had been shot multiple times and died as a result of the injuries he sustained.  The victim has been identified as Cesar Felix, Hispanic male, 20 years of age, from Wimauma.  (See photo)  The unknown suspect(s) fled the area.

PCPD Detectives Obtain Arrest Warrant for Shooting Suspect (2017/11/13)

STATUS: OPEN
On November 1, 2017 at 12:20 a.m., the victim and suspect met at 301 North Thomas Street in Plant City to negotiate the purchase of ammunition.  During the encounter, a dispute over the sale occurred, at which time the suspect shot the victim multiple times in the upper body, then fled the area.  The victim and suspect met days earlier through a mutual acquaintance.  Detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for Zakarii Pafilm Sherrife Marshall, B/M, 23 yoa, for Attempted 1st Degree Murder and Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
 
Caution:  Marshall should be considered Armed & Dangerous.

Pasco Detectives Work to Identify Robbery Suspect Who Fought with Cashier and Customer (2017/11/06)

STATUS: OPEN
On November 4, 2017 at approximately 7:00 p.m., an unknown white male entered the Dollar General located at 4404 Grand Boulevard in New Port Richey while wearing a black hoodie with a hat underneath, mostly covering his face.  The suspect approached the cashiers while claiming to be armed with a firearm and demanded money.  During the robbery, the suspect battered a customer who attempted to stop the robbery.  The customer sustained minor injuries.  The suspect then engaged in a physical altercation with a cashier, who sustained minor injuries.  During the struggle, the cashier was able to remove the suspects hoodie and hat.  The suspect obtained cash and fled on foot heading west. 
 
The suspect was described as a white male, 25-30 years of age, 5'10", thin build, brown eyes, brown hair, facial stubble, slight tan and wearing a grey t-shirt that says "STAFF" in yellow on the back, tan pants and black shoes.  The suspect possibly has a tattoo on his right forearm.

HCSO Detectives Search for Suspect Involved in Hit and Run Fatality (2017/10/31)

STATUS: SOLVED
Sometime between October 29, 2017 at 10:00 p.m. and October 30, 2017 at 2:30 a.m., an unknown subject driving a pickup truck struck and killed a pedestrian while he was walking southbound on Orient Road just north of Hanna Avenue in Tampa.  Detectives believe the suspect vehicle is a full size pick up truck, green in color and is missing its passenger mirror. (See photo)  The victim has been identified as Mostafa Mohammed Abdalla, 19 years of age.  (See photo)

On November 14, 2017 at approximately 4:51 a.m., Ronald Felton, 60 years of age, was crossing Nebraska Avenue North just north of East Caracas Street in Tampa to meet someone.  An unknown suspect approached him from behind and shot him.  Felton died as a result of the injuries he sustained.  The suspect was described as a black male, 6'0"-6'02", thin build, light complexion and wearing all black clothing.  

On October 19, 2017 at approximately 7:57 p.m., the victim, Anthony Naiboa, 20 years of age, was walking north on 15th Street in the area of Wilder Avenue in Tampa. As he was walking, he was shot by an unknown suspect and later died as a result of the injuries he sustained.

On October 13, 2017 at approximately 9:30 a.m., Monica Caridad Hoffa, 32 years of age, was found in a vacant lot in the 10,000 block of New Orleans Avenue East in Tampa. She had been walking through the neighborhood on October 11, 2017 at approximately 8:45 p.m. headed to meet a friend. Hoffa was shot and killed by an unknown suspect.

On October 9, 2017 at approximately 9:00 p.m., Benjamin Edward Mitchell, 22 years of age, was waiting for a HARTline bus on North 15th Street at Frierson Avenue in Tampa. While at the bus stop, Mitchell was shot by an unknown suspect and later died as a result of the injuries he sustained. Witnesses described seeing a black male, early 20’s, wearing a dark hooded jacket, running from the area where the shooting took place immediately after the gunfire.

PCPD Detectives Investigate Vehicle Burglary Where Cash was Taken (2017/10/19)

STATUS: OPEN
On October 18, 2017 at approximately 10:30 a.m., a silver Chrysler minivan pulled into the Marathon gas station along side of a white Toyota Prius that was parked next to a gas pump.  The gas station is located at 2851 Thonotosassa Road West in Plant City.  While the victim was inside the store, a gold Nissan Quest can be seen on surveillance video stopping in front of both vehicles.  At the same time, the driver's side rear passenger door of the Chrysler minivan opens and a white or Hispanic male exits.  The suspect can be seen taking an object from the minivan, leaning over the Prius and using the object to break the rear passenger window of the car.  The suspect entered the victim's vehicle, took property which included a large amount of currency, then reenters the Chrysler minivan.  The suspect was wearing black gloves, a blue shirt, light colored pants, blue or dark shoes and a hat.  Detectives believe that occupants of both minivans participated in the crime together.  After the burglary, both vehicles leave the parking lot at the same time, heading toward Interstate 4.

TPD Detectives Work to Identify Second Homicide Suspect (2017/10/11)

STATUS: OPEN
On October 1, 2017 shortly after 1:00 a.m., two subjects asked the victims for a ride while they were at the Ybor Grocery located at 3401 North 15th Street in Tampa.  They traveled in the victim's 2003 4-door Ford Taurus, beige in color.  As they approached East 18th Avenue and North 17th Street, the driver was directed to pull over.  The suspects ordered the victims out of the car, forced them to remove their pants and lay on the ground at which time the suspects then shot both victims.  The suspects robbed the victims of their cash and personal property, then fled in the victim's vehicle, which was recovered by law enforcement the next day.  DuVaughn A. Shaheed, 55 yoa, died as a result of the injuries he sustained.  The second victim was seriously injured.
 
John Jarah Hicks III was arrested by detectives on October 5, 2017 and charged with Murder in the 1st Degree Felony Murder (Firearm), Attempted 1st Degree Felony Murder (Firearm) and other related charges.  Hicks was booked in Hillsborough County Jail under Booking #17036037.  Detectives are seeking information that would assist  with identifying the second suspect, who has been described as a black male, light complexion, tall, thin build and was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket and hat.

TPD Detectives Ask for Information in Woodlawn Terrace Homicide (2017/10/11)

On May 31, 2015 at approximately 4:20 p.m., TPD officers received a call about an injured teen at Woodlawn Terrace Park located at 6410 32nd Street North in Tampa.  The victim, Edward Harris III, 1/29/2001 died at a local hospital as a result of the injuries he sustained.  Detectives believe that Harris was shot by an unknown suspect(s) in a silver or grey 4-door vehicle.

On September 24, 2017 at 7:13 a.m., a shooting occurred at the Citgo gas station located at 20949 US Highway 98 in Trilby.  The suspect was observed firing rounds at an occupant of another vehicle from a blue 2-door vehicle.  The suspect is a white male with tattoos.

On July 9, 2017 an unknown black male entered Tampa Humidor located at 1418 Busch Boulevard East in Tampa.  While inside, he selected lighters valued at approximately $121.00 then left the store without paying.  A short time later, the same suspect returned to the store and fraudulently returned the stolen items for a cash refund.

TPD Detectives Ask for Information in Early Morning Shooting (2017/09/28)

On September 17, 2017 shortly after 3:00 a.m., O'Shay Lewis was driving his vehicle southbound on Armenia Avenue near MLK Jr. Boulevard in Tampa.  Lewis and his friends had just attended a concert at the Palladium Bar located at 5305 Armenia Avenue North.  After Lewis stopped for the traffic light, a car pulled up next to his, at which time unknown suspect(s) shot at Lewis's vehicle.  O'Shay Lewis died as a result of the injuries he sustained and one of his friends who was a passenger was critically injured.  At this time the only vehicle description is that it was dark in color.  (Picture is of victim.)

TPD Detectives Want to Identify Skimmer Suspect (2017/09/21)

STATUS: OPEN
On September 1, 2017 two skimmers were found on each of the ATMs at the SunTrust Bank located at 1701 East 7th Avenue in Ybor City.  The skimmers were placed on the machines by an unknown white male at 7:12 p.m.  The suspect was captured on the surveillance video and was seen wearing a dark colored floppy hat and dark t-shirt.  The suspect returned at 9:38 p.m. and believed to be testing the skimmers by making a transaction.  Law enforcement believe the suspect may be either Hispanic or Middle Eastern, in his late 20's, medium build, black or brown hair cut low, a full beard and was wearing a white Armani Exchange shirt.

HCSO Detectives Work to Identify Pharmacy Burglary Suspects (2017/09/13)

STATUS: OPEN
Between September 10, 2017 at 10:24 p.m. and September 11, 2017 at 12:52 a.m., three suspects entered the CVS Pharmacy located at 5905 Highway 301 South in Riverview through the receiving door.  Once inside, the suspects loaded $1,305 worth of merchandise including diapers and shampoo into three shopping carts.  The suspects also took a large quantity of prescription medications.  The suspects were wearing all black clothing, gloves and face masks. One suspect was wearing a black jacket with a distinctive logo on the back.

HCSO Detectives Search for Suspects Who Took Over $38,000 in Dirt Bikes (2017/09/12)

On September 11, 2017 several unknown suspects entered the Tampa Bay Power Sports located at 13521 Florida Avenue North in Tampa after ramming the side of the business with an unknown type vehicle.  While inside, the suspects selected 7 dirt bikes valued at over $38,000 and took them from the store.  The suspects also caused damage to multiple motorcycles by pushing them over, breaking mirrors and tearing bumpers off.

On September 12, 2017 at approximately 1:30 a.m., a shooting occurred at the Chevron gas station located at 7710 Madison Avenue in Tampa.  Two subjects were shot near the gas pumps and died as a result of their injuries.  The victims have been identified as Dremaine Vashaun Johnson, 24 yoa and James J. HCSO Detectives Look for Suspects Who Used Stolen Truck to Enter Store (2017/09/12)

On September 10, 2017 at approximately 10:39 p.m., a 4-door, white, F150 was backed in to the front of Teresa's Food Mart located at 11723 15th Street North in Tampa.  The suspects exited the truck and entered the store through the broken glass.  The unknown race suspects can be seen taking various items from the store.  A truck matching this description was stolen on the same day.  The suspects can be seen on surveillance video wearing dark clothing and hoodies.

TPD Detectives Investigate Pharmacy Robbery (2017/09/08)

On September 8, 2017  at 9:45 a.m., an unknown black male entered the Express Special Pharmacy located at 4111 Henderson Boulevard in Tampa. The suspect demanded prescription drugs while displaying a firearm.  At some point a struggle ensued with the victim employee. The suspect was captured on surveillance video and is described as a black male, 35-45 yoa, 6', medium build, dark complexion, short black hair with a receding hair line, prescription glasses and last seen wearing black pants, white tank top, black mask and gray hoodie.

HCSO Detectives Search for Lithia Bank Robbery Suspect (2017/09/05)

On September 5, 2017 at 2:32 p.m., an unknown white male entered the Fifth Third Bank located at 16509 Fishhawk Boulevard in Lithia while wearing a baseball hat and sunglasses.  The suspect approached a teller, stated it was a robbery and demanded money.  The suspect said that he had someone waiting outside.  After receiving cash, the suspect fled the bank on foot.  The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 30 yoa, 5'07", thin build, wearing a black shirt with a white t-shirt underneath, blue jeans, glasses and a khaki colored baseball hat with with a navy color bill.

FHP Investigators Ask the Public for Information in Death Investigation (2017/09/01)

STATUS: OPEN
On July 8, 2017 at approximately 2:05 a.m., the victim, Dylan Garland, 25 yoa, was found injured on the roadway of Highway 301 near the intersection of Globe Road in Dade City, within Pasco County.  He had suffered life threatening injuries and was take by helicopter to a local hospital where he succumbed to the injuries and died a couple days later.  Dylan was last seen just after midnight drinking at the Lighthouse Bar located at 5025 Treiman Boulevard, Dade City, within Hernando County.  It is believed that Dylan was walking to his residence at The Circle of Veterans & Families in Dade City as he is a veteran of the United States Navy.
