Pasco County Sheriff`s Office detectives are investigating the murder of 58 year old Richard "Stevie" Massey (pictured here). On October 6, 2013, between 3:30 am and 4:00am, the Pasco County Sheriff`s Office responded to a house fire at 4636 Lane Road in Zephyrhills. Massey` was found dead outside the residence, having been shot multiple times. It appears that the fire, which destroyed the victim`s mobile home, was intentionally set.

David Addison Neel-FHP Unsolved Homicide
June 11, 2013

On March 6, 2005 at approximately 10:53 a.m., the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a traffic crash on the southbound exit ramp of Interstate 75 onto Interstate 4.  Upon arrival, troopers found what appeared to be a single vehicle crash involving a 1990 Ford F250.  Further investigation revealed a bullet hole in the victim’s vehicle and a single gunshot wound to the victim.

Preliminary investigation determined that the victim was southbound on Interstate 75 from the area of State Road 54 in Zephyrhills.  Witnesses report seeing the victim’s vehicle southbound on Interstate 75 just south of Fowler Avenue.  The next report on the victim’s vehicle was when it was observed crashed on the exit ramp.

A single bullet hole was found in the driver’s door near the side view mirror. The bullet penetrated the driver’s door and the victim was struck in the upper left side of his chest.  The victim died as a result of his injuries.  The victim was identified as 49 year old David Addison Neel of Zephyrhills.  It appeared at the time that Mr. Neel was shot while driving along Interstate 75 at the southbound exit ramp for Interstate 4.  Indications are the shot was fired from a passing vehicle which would have been slightly ahead of and to the left of Mr. Neel’s pick up truck.

Tonya Daniels-HCSO Unsolved Homicide
March 01, 2013

On March 1, 2013, at approximately 3:45am, the body of 41 year old Tonya Daniels (pictured here) was discovered in her apartment located at  1407 E 127th Avenue in Tampa. She was found lying on the living room floor unresponsive and covered in blood. Hillsborough County Sheriff`s Deputies were dispatched to the scene. The victim was pronounced deceased by first responders. The victim died as a result of blunt force trauma.

Derrick Julian Dixon, Jr.- TPD Unsolved Homicide
October 06, 2012

On Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 9:30 PM, the victim, 20 year old Derrick Julian Dixon Jr (pictured here), drove to the River Oaks Apartments to drop off a friend. The victim was sitting in his car in front of 6706 Shadeville Lane when an unknown person approached and fired several shots at the victim. The victim attempted to flee the scene in his car, but succumbed to his wounds a short distance away.

Pasco County Sheriff`s Office Major Crimes Bureau detectives are seeking help from the public in solving the murder of 39 year old Eric Cornell Crenshaw (pictured here). On Friday, September 7, 2012, at approximately 9:53 PM, victim Eric Crenshaw, aka "Chicken" was found lying beside Ballies Bluff Road in Holiday near the Anclote Gulf Park. Danial Kettlety- FHP Unsolved Homicide

At approximately 6:00 AM, on November 10, 1997, Danial Kettlety, age 19, was struck and killed by an unknown vehicle while walking in the area of Ridge Road, just west of Little Road in Pasco County, Florida.

Kelly Moriarty- HCSO Unsolved Homicide
December 16, 2011

December 16, 2011, was the last day family and friends had seen or spoken with either Kelly Moriarty or Doris Carter. The family of Ms. Carter witnessed the two leave Ms. Carter`s residence in Plant City, FL on December 16, 2011, in Kelly Moriarty`s vehicle. There has been no cell phone or credit/debt card activity since that day. The vehicle they were last seen in was found abandoned on December 17, 2011, on SR 62 in Parrish.
 
On December 27, 2011, the severed leg of Kelly Moriarty washed ashore in St. Petersburg, FL.  Doris Carter, who is described as a Caucasian female, 62 years of age, 5`1", 110 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes, is still missing.

John Singleton- TPD Unsolved Homicide
October 29, 2011

On October 29, 2011, at approximately 11:45 pm, a crowd of approximately 60 people were inside Unique Island Grill located at 3404 E. Lake Avenue in Tampa for a birthday party. Several black males became involved in a fight and were told to leave the building. The fight resumed outside and unknown suspect(s) fired several shots. The victim was shot and transported to Tampa General Hospital where he later died.

Sean Buchanan- HCSO Unsolved Homicide
June 01, 2011

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is working a homicide investigation involving victim Sean Buchanan. On May 30, 2011 at approximately 10:40 p.m. deputies responded to 2496 Brandon Boulevard West in Brandon in reference to a traffic crash. The Toyota was discovered by a passerby behind the Regency Square Shopping Center down the embankment in a wooded area. The victim was discovered in his vehicle and he had trauma to the upper body which is not consistent with a traffic crash.

The victim had been to the movies at Regency and deputies are asking for anyone that was in the area between 9:50 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Monday, May 30, 2011, that might have seen the victim or the victim’s vehicle to call Crime Stoppers.

Coryell Parker- TPD Unsolved Homicide
April 27, 2011

On April 27, 2011, at approximately 3:00am, 24 year Coryell Parker was loitering near the area of Nebraska Avenue near Ellicott Street in Tampa dressed as a female. According to witnesses, Parker walked westbound from Nebraska Avenue to a nearby alley.  A  gunshot was heard and Parker was seen staggering eastbound to Nebraska Avenue where he fell to the ground. Parker died as a result of his injury.

 

The unknown suspect is described as a Black male possibly in his  mid 20’s, 180-200 lbs., medium to muscular build, medium skin, no shirt, tattoos on his arms and chest. The suspect’s air cut was faded on the sides with hair on top, a mustache, and a patch of hair on his chin. He was last seen wearing dark basketball shorts and black hi-top Jordan’s and was  riding a red mountain bike.

Emilio J. Martinez-Rodriguez- TPD Unsolved Homicide
December 23, 2010

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspect(s) responsible for the murder of 34 year old Emilio J. Martinez-Rodriguez. An additional reward of up to $4,000 is being offered by Emilio’s family for the arrest and conviction of those responsible. On the evening of December 15, 2010, the victim had left his home at 2125 W. Dallas Avenue in Tampa to pickup a food takeout order at the China Moon Restaurant and then groceries at the Sweetbay Supermarket located at Tampa Bay Boulevard and Armenia Avenue. Detectives believe that the victim made it back to his residence, but went missing from there. The groceries were found in the driveway, but the victim and his 2007 Toyota Camry bearing Florida tag # B2AKC were missing.

 

At approximately 7:00 pm on December 15, 2010, an unknown male subject wearing a black leather jacket with a white t-shirt underneath was seen walking in the victim’s yard from a ditch area that was located at the rear of the residence. On December 23, 2010, the victim’s body and vehicle were located in a wooded area near Orient Road and Sligh Avenue in Tampa.

Peter Hyman- TPD Unsolved Homicide

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the unknown suspect responsible for the murder of 28 year old Peter Hyman of  Tampa.  The victim was shot by an unknown black male suspect in the parking lot of the Tally Ho Pub, located at 7402 N. 56th Street in Tampa, on Feb. 5, 2010, at 2:45 am.

 

Earlier in the evening, the victim was involved in an altercation with a group of individuals inside the pub. A short time later the victim left the establishment at closing time and proceeded to his vehicle in the parking lot.  As the victim was sitting in his car, he was approached by an unknown suspect who shot him one time in the upper body with an unknown type of firearm. The suspect then fled the scene in possibly a 1990’s black Cadillac Escalade or a 4 door dark colored 1990`s model sedan with an unknown tag.

 

The suspect is described as a black male with a light complexion, early 20’s, 5’10”, 175 - 185 lbs., with a medium build and clean shaven. HE was observed to possibly have a receding hairline, his eyes are positioned close togetger, and he spoke with a slight speech impediment.  He was last seen wearing a red baseball cap, red shirt, black jeans and white tennis shoes.

 

Below is a photograph of one of the unknown subjects who had been involved in the altercation with the victim prior to the shooting and is considered a person of interest whom detectives would like to speak to regarding the case.

Shamir Garnelo- HCSO Unsolved Homicide

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspect(s) responsible for the murder of 21 year old Shamir Garnelo, DOB 4-1-88 of Plant City, FL. Garnelo found dead in the bathroom of the American Legion Hall 173 at 1750 Arcadia Road in Holiday on October 31, 2009.  He was at a combined birthday-Halloween party as a music DJ. Detectives have interviewed about fifty people who were at the party, but many left before deputies arrived and they wish to talk to anyone who was at the party. Two suspects in motorcycle helmets, black clothes and gloves were seen fleeing the bathroom before Garnelo`s body was found.

Roy A. Williams-TPD Unsolved Homicide
July 24, 2009

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the unknown suspect responsible for the death of 51 year old Roy A. Williams.  On July 24, 2009, at approximately 5:04 AM, Mr. Williams, was riding a bike north on Nebraska Avenue at Van Dyke Place when he was struck by an unknown type truck that fled the scene. Tampa Police detectives believe the truck has dual rear tires, but no other description is available.

 

After the crash, Mr. Williams was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital. On July 27, 2009, Mr. Williams died as a result of the injuries he sustained in the crash.
