TTPD Ask for Information on Early Morning Roadway Shooting (2016/01/12)

On January 11, 2016 at approximately 1:15 am, the victim was traveling westbound on E. Fowler Avenue near N. Riverhills Drive in Temple Terrace.  The suspect pulled up alongside the victim who was driving a white Chrysler 200 and shot him.  The suspect was traveling on an unknown type of sport style motorcycle.  It is believed that the suspect may have followed the victim for several miles.  The suspect has been described as a white male, in his 40`s to 50`s, having a long gray beard and gray hair.  The suspect fled east on Fowler Avenue then south on Interstate 75.

TPD Detectives Ask for Information on Homicide of Vleet Watts (2016/01/12)

On December 11, 2015 at 11:00 pm, the victim, Vleet Watts, was on the north side of Leon`s Package Store at the corner of 29th Street and 31st Avenue in Tampa when he was shot once in the chest.  The victim was taken to the hospital.  Shortly after, another victim arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound to the hand.  On December 20, 2015, Vleet Watts died as a result of his injuries.  Surveillance video captured a vehicle fleeing the scene.

PCSO Detectives Attempt to Identify Battery Suspect (2016/01/12)

On December 17, 2015 at approximately 12:15 pm an unknown black female was walking through the parking lot of the Tampa Outlet mall in Wesley Chapel when she engaged in a verbal argument with the victim who was attempting to pull into a parking space.  The suspect reached through the victim`s open car window and struck her on the face.  The black female was described to be in her mid-40`s.  The suspect was seen on store surveillance video shortly before the incident.

HCSO Detectives Search for Parking Lot Robbery Suspect (2016/01/11)

On January 7, 2016 at approximately 4:30 am, an unknown black male approached the victim who was sitting in his car in the Starbuck`s parking lot at 3715 Highway 301 South in Riverview.  The black male displayed a handgun while he knocked on the victim`s window and demanded money.  The victim advised that he did not have any cash so the suspect escorted him to the McDonald`s where he waited while the victim withdrew money.  After receiving the cash the suspect fled on foot westbound behind the Publix.

The suspect is described as a black male, 18-21 years of age, approximately 5`07", 130 lbs. and last seen wearing a navy blue hoodie, navy blue pants with yellow writing down the left leg and black Nike shoes.

HCSO Detectives Want to Identify Burglary Suspects (2016/01/08)

On January 2, 2016 at 4:30 pm, four unknown suspects entered Pennenga Enterprises located at 733 Knowles Road in Brandon.  Once inside, the suspects caused over $2,000 in damage to the property.  Surveillance video captured images of the suspects who are described as being two white males and two white females.             (see below photos)

HCSO Deputies Search for Cell Phone Thieves (2016/01/05)

On January 4, 2016 at 5:28 pm, two unknown suspects removed four iPhones from the display counter for AT&T located at 217 Brandon Town Center Drive in Brandon.  The cell phones (gold iPhone 6S Plus 16GB, gold iPhone 6 Plus 16GB, rose gold iPhone 6S 16GB & silver iPhone 5S 16GB) are valued at approximately $2,500. 

The suspects fled in a black four-door sedan, similar to a Chrysler 300 or Cadillac.  Surveillance video captured the suspects inside the store.  The black male is described as being 5`07", 150 lbs. and last seen wearing a gray hooded jacket, dark blue jeans and a black hat.  The black female suspect is described as being 5`05", 150 lbs., possibly having an unknown tattoo on her left hand and last seen wearing a black jacket and dark blue jeans.

HCSO Detectives are Asking for Information on North Tampa Homicide (2015/12/31)

UPDATE - An arrest warrant has been issued for Kaliyah Ronell-Marquee Everett for First Degree Felony Murder, Attempted Armed Robbery & Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Firearm). See photo of suspect.

On December 30, 2015 at approximately 7:00 pm, a shooting occurred in the 1700 block of University Woods Place (Oak Bend Apartment Complex) in North Tampa.  When deputies arrived on scene they found Tysaiah Christopher Williams Donaldson, 9/30/1996 from Wesley Chapel outside of the apartments with at least one gunshot wound.  Donaldson was transported to the hospital where he later died as a result of the injuries.  Two black male suspects were seen fleeing from the scene on foot.

TPD Detectives Want to Identify Hotel Robbery Suspects (2015/12/28)

On December 28, 2015 at 1:57 am two unknown suspects robbed the clerk at the Baymont Hotel located at 3001 University Center Drive in Tampa.  The suspects entered the lobby wearing masks.  Suspect #1 pointed a handgun at the clerk while demanding money as suspect #2 jumped the counter.  After suspect #2 took the cash from a drawer they both fled through the lobby door.

Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 18-20 years of age, 5`06", thin build, wearing a gray mask, tan long sleeve jacket and black pants.

Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 18-20 years of age, 5`06", thin build, wearing a dark hooded jacket and black/white shorts.

TPD Officers Search for Carjacking Suspects (2015/12/27)

On December 27, 2015 at approximately 1:34 am, the victim was pulled from her 2003 Ford Explorer and beaten by two unknown suspects. The victim, who had been living in her vehicle, had parked it at North 9th Street and East Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa. The suspects stole the black SUV which displaced FL tag 1612PM. The vehicle is considered to be in poor condition as the driver`s side window does not go up, however the keys are with the vehicle. The victim suffered minor injuries.

The suspects were described as a black male, 15-17 years of age, 5`08", 150 pounds and last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants and a black female, 15-17 years of age, 5`03", 100 pounds and last seen wearing dark clothing. The suspects fled in the vehicle northbound on North 9th Street.

On December 16, 2015 an unknown suspect forced entry into the Ameriscape Services located at 9702 Harney Road in Thonotosassa and removed a Stihl pole saw.  The suspect fled with the saw after the alarm sounded.  Surveillance video captured the suspect inside the business.  The white male suspect was last seen wearing a blue baseball hat, black hooded sweatshirt, black shorts, black and white shoes and white gloves.

On December 15, 2015 at approximately 10:17 am, two unknown suspects stole packages valued at $300 from two homes in Valrico.  The residences, both in the 1900 block of Crown Park Drive had recently had a package delivered.  Surveillance video captures one of the suspect`s taking a package from the front porch.

The suspects are described as: a black male, 18-24 years of age, thin build, short afro and last seen wearing jeans with red boxers and a black male with short hair and last seen wearing bright yellow shorts and a gray long-sleeve shirt.

Pasco County deputies are looking for the suspect(s) who broke into an Odessa business on December 11, 2015.  The unknown suspect(s) stole a cold saw, milling machine and welding machine from the business located at 11541 Pyramid Drive sometime between 3:00 am and 4:00 am.  Surveillance video captures a truck that law enforcement believe the suspect(s) used to remove the items.

HCSO Detectives are Asking for Information on Morning Shooting (2015/12/18)

On December 11, 2015 at approximately 9:55 am, two unknown black males knocked on the front door of a residence in the 4900 block of 82nd Street South in Tampa and when an elderly female opened the door slightly they forced their way into the residence.  Suspect #1 brandished a black semi-automatic handgun and asked, "Where he at?" while suspect #2 held the victim.  Suspect #1 encountered an elderly male and battered him with the handgun.  An adult male emerged from a back bedroom and was shot at by both suspects.  The victim was struck multiple times in the upper body.  Both suspects fled the residence and were seen entering a vehicle which was described as a late 1990`s model 4-door sedan, gold in color.  The vehicle is similar to a Nissan Maxima with a small spoiler and was being driven by suspect #3.  (See photo of similar vehicle.)

The suspects are described as:                                                                            

Suspect #1 - black male, late 20`s to early 30`s, 5`06, stocky build, medium complexion, long dreadlocks below the shoulder and last seen wearing a dark colored t-shirt, multi-colored sweater and beige shorts.

Suspect #2 - black male, late 20`s, 5`09, slender build, dark complexion, short black hair and last seen wearing a dark blue t-shirt and dark blue pants.

Suspect #3 - black male, late 20`s, short black hair and last seen wearing a brown t-shirt.

HCSO Detectives Attempt to ID Suspects Who Stole Drone (2015/12/16)

On December 11, 2015 at approximately 7:06 pm, two unknown males entered the My Tobbies store located at 2218 University Square Mall in Tampa and selected a Horizon Hobby Chroma drone valued at approximately $799.00 from the shelf.  Suspect #1 walked around the store while suspect #2 watched through the shelving.  Both suspects waited for an employee to walk away from the entrance then exited the store together with the drone.  Neither suspect made an attempt to purchase the item.
 
Suspect #1 is described as a black male, having a 3" long goatee/beard and was wearing a black button-up collard shirt, blue jeans, dark loafers, glasses and a gray Fedora hat.
Suspect #2 is described as a white male, having shaved dark hair, a large tattoo on his left forearm, large dark earrings and wearing a white polo shirt, camouflage pants, black Nike slides and carrying a black backpack.

HCSO Detectives Work to Identify Liquor Store Theft Suspects (2015/12/07)

On December 1, 2015 at 6:45 pm, four unknown black females entered the Sam`s Club Liquor Store at 2021 Brandon Boulevard W. in Brandon.  The females selected 5 bottles of Patron Silver Tequila valued at approximately $170, concealed the bottles in their purses and exited the store passing all points of sale.  The suspects fled in an older model, 4-door vehicle, maroon in color.  The black female suspects range in age from 20-40, are described as being 5`06 to 5`08, 140 to 200 pounds and two suspects have tattoos down their right arm.  (See surveillance photos.)

HCSO Detectives Work to Identify Brandon Bank Robbery Suspect (2015/12/04)

On December 4, 2015 at 5:30 pm, an unknown male entered the TD Bank located at 1018 Lumsden Road West in Brandon while armed with a semi-automatic handgun with a laser and demanded cash from the bank tellers.  The suspect fled the bank on foot in an eastbound direction with the cash.  The suspect may have drove away in a late model 4-door Lexus, silver in color.  The suspect was described as a black male, 5`08" to 5`10", 180-200 lbs., muscular build and last seen wearing a black suit jacket, black dress slacks, a white shirt, black tie, a black baseball style hat, sunglasses, a black glove on his left hand and a plastic oxygen mask covering his face with an oxygen tube connected to a messenger bag carried on his left side.

TPD Officers Attempt to ID Electronics Thief from Target (2015/12/02)

On October 23, 2015 an unknown white male, while inside the Target located at 1544 Dale Mabry Highway North in Tampa, concealed electronic devices valued at approximately $600 in his backpack and attempted to leave the store without paying for the items.  The suspect resisted the loss prevention officer`s efforts to detain him at the exit and was able to break free and flee the store after dropping the backpack full of stolen merchandise.
