Tampa PD Detectives Work to Identify Suspects Using Stolen Credit Cards

STATUS: OPEN
On January 18, 2018 between 9:00 a.m. and 11:52 a.m., an unknown suspect damaged the driver's door lock of a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu that was parked at the LA Fitness located at 6411 County Line Road East in Tampa.  The suspect entered the vehicle and took a wallet containing credit cards.  Two stolen cards were used to make purchases at the Walgreens at 20741 Bruce B Downs Boulevard and Target at 1201 County Road 581.  An unknown black male and black female were caught on surveillance video making the fraudulent credit card purchases.  The suspects left the area in a unknown make/model sedan that was captured on store surveillance video while leaving the parking lot.

Pasco Detectives Seek the Public's Assistance to Help Identify Violent Home Invasion Suspect

STATUS: IN CUSTODY
On February 19, 2018 at approximately 8:17 a.m., a 71 yoa victim entered a residence on Heather Street in New Port Richey to check on the home.  The victim was met by an unknown male who was armed with a handgun with a red or orange tip.  The suspect sexually battered the victim then fled at approximately 10:00 a.m. walking northbound on Heather Street.  The suspect is described as a Hispanic or black male, 25-35 yoa, approximately 6', thin goatee, scar on his right forearm, two tattoos on his chest, one that reads "DORTHA".   The suspect told the victim his name is Kevin.

HCSO Detectives Look for Robbery Suspect Wearing Surgeon's Mask

STATUS: OPEN
On February 15, 2018 at approximately 9:54 p.m. a black male entered the Dollar General located at 459 Brandon Boulevard West and demanded money from the store clerk while displaying a black firearm.  The suspect took the employee's Google Pixel cell phone and the cash from the register then fled eastbound.  The suspect is described as a black male, 6'02" to 6'04", heavy build, wearing a gray sweatshirt and sweatpants, white t-shirt, baseball hat with a red bill and white/blue on the cap, a white surgeon's mask and carrying a black and gray drawstring bag.

TPD Detectives Investigate Pattern of Business Burglaries
February 16, 2018

STATUS: OPEN
On January 4, 2018 at 2:31 a.m., two unknown subjects used a brick paver to smash the front door to The Cut Barbershop located at 902 Busch Boulevard West in Tampa.  After gaining entry, the suspects removed an ATM and fled in a Volkswagen Passat.  Law enforcement has recovered the stolen ATM.
 
On February 14, 2018 at 2:24 a.m., two unknown subjects used a long metal pry tool to force open the front door to The Sprint store located at 5004 Fowler Avenue East in Tampa.  Once they entered the store, the suspects immediately went to the pay station at the rear of the store but they were unable to take anything from it.  The suspects took a bluetooth speaker from the display and fled in a Volkswagen Passat. 
 
Detectives believe the same two suspects are responsible for both burglaries.  The suspects are covering their bodies with dark clothing to deter identification.  The suspect vehicle used in both burglaries is described as a white, 2014-2015 model Volkswagen Passat, which was caught on surveillance video.

Pasco Detectives Search for Port Richey Shooting Suspect(s)

On February 14, 2018 at approximately 5:55 p.m., unknown suspect(s) fired multiple rounds into the victim's vehicle at 6353 Ridge Crest Drive in Port Richey striking one victim and grazing another.  The suspect is described as a white male, having a pierced eyebrow, no facial hair and wearing a blue hat and dark clothing.  The suspect is believed to be driving a black, older model Mazda 4-door with no hubcaps and black rims.  One suspect vehicle was caught on area surveillance video and was last seen heading east on Ridge Crest Drive.

An arrest warrant for Robbery has been issued for Warren Latis Maxwell, 11/14/1979.
 
On February 13, 2018 at approximately 2:04 p.m., a black male entered the Wells Fargo bank located at 12233 Florida Avenue North in Tampa.  The suspect approached a teller, implied he had a weapon and demanded cash.  Once he received the currency, the suspect fled the bank on foot heading in a southbound direction.  The suspect is described as a black male, mid 30's, 6', 180 lbs. and wearing a tan long sleeve dress shirt, brown pants and sunglasses.

Pasco Detectives Ask for Information to Help Identify Suspect Believed to Have Robbed 3 Stores in 3 Days

STATUS: IN CUSTODY
On February 8, 2018 at approximately 9:00 p.m., an unknown white male entered the Citgo Gas Station located at 29741 State Road 54 in Wesley Chapel armed with a silver and black handgun and demanded cash.  The suspect was wearing all black clothing and carrying a brown bag or purse.  The suspect fled the store with cash.
 
On February 8, 2018 at approximately 10:30 p.m. an unknown white male entered the Best Western Hotel located at 5639 Oakley Boulevard in Wesley Chapel armed with a silver and black handgun and demanded cash.  The suspect fired a shot near the victim, who was not injured.  The suspect fled with cash and was seen driving a dark colored 4-door vehicle.
 
On February 10, 2018 at approximately 8:00 p.m., an unknown white male entered the Metro PCS located at 6947 Gall Boulevard in Zephyrhills armed with a black handgun and demanded cash.  The suspect fired a shot in the store.  No one was injured.  The suspect was seen wearing black Nike shoes with a white "Swoosh" and a white trim on the bottom.  The suspect fled the store with cash.
 
Detectives believe that one suspect is responsible for these armed robberies.  The suspect is described as a white male, 5'06"-5'10", in his 20's to early 30's, thin build, light colored hair and was wearing a black mask, black long sleeve shirt, dark jeans and black gloves.  The suspect possibly has a colored tattoo on the rear left side of his neck.  
 
The suspect should be considered Armed & Dangerous.

HCSO Detectives Search for Home Invasion Suspects

STATUS: OPEN
On February 4, 2018 at approximately 10:50 p.m., two black males armed with rifles entered a residence on Stoner Road in Riverview through the back door.  One suspect ordered the victims to get down and held them at gunpoint while they demanded property and cash.  One suspect discharged his rifle inside the residence striking a door.  Both suspects fled the residence with property and cash, then left the area in an unknown make vehicle. 
 
A debit card taken during the robbery was used at the Walmart located at 2701 Fletcher Avenue just hours after the robbery by an unknown black male and black female.  The suspects were caught on store surveillance video and are described as a black male, 20-30's, 5'07"-5'10", 160-180 lbs., goatee and wearing a blue checkered jacket and white pants.  The black female is in her 20-30's, 5'06"-5'08, 120-140 lbs., glasses and wearing a multi-colored dress and gray jacket.  The suspects left the store in an SUV, possibly a Dodge Durango.

HCSO Detectives Work to Identify Shooting Suspects

STATUS: OPEN
On January 22, 2018 at approximately 6:17 p.m., two unknown suspects we seen on surveillance video watching three persons who were standing at the corner of 50th Street and Knollwood Place in Tampa.  One suspect removed a handgun from his pants and fired several shots at the victims who were able to escape without injury.  The suspects fled east behind the business plaza heading toward the Del Rio Apartment complex.  The suspects should be considered Armed & Dangerous.
 
Suspect #1 is described as a black male, medium complexion, twists in his hair, last seen wearing a red beanie cap, white t-shirt, red pants, white socks and black slides.  Suspect #2 is described as a black male, dark complexion, last seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants and white sneakers.

Seminole PD Investigate Early Morning Casino Robbery

On February 2, 2018 just after 2:00 a.m., an armed suspect pointed a handgun at a cashier in the Poker Room at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino located at 5223 Orient Road in Tampa and demanded money.  The suspect fled the casino on foot after receiving the cash and headed south on Orient Road, south of Interstate 4.  The suspect is described as a black male, in his mid to late twenties, approximately 5'04", 140 lbs., wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with gray sleeves, black sweatpants, sunglasses and armed with a handgun.

TPD Detectives Look for Robbery Suspect Who Took Cigarettes

On January 26, 2018 shortly after 1:00 a.m., an unknown subject entered the Walgreens on Hillsborough Avenue East in Tampa while wearing a red hooded jacket.  The suspect implied he had a gun and took a box containing several cartons of cigarettes that was behind the counter where the clerk was standing.  The suspect ran out of the store and fled in a waiting gray or silver SUV.

Pasco Detectives Ask the Public for Assistance in Identifying Armed Home Invasion Suspect

On January 30, 2018 at approximately 8:10 p.m. an unknown white male knocked on the front door of a home on Devonshire Drive in Holiday.  When the victim answered the door, the suspect forced his way inside and demanded cash from the female victim.  The suspect told the victim he had a gun and would shoot her.  The suspect attempted to shut the door to force the victim into the home as she was screaming for help.  The suspect told the victim he was going to come back and shoot her.  The suspect ran to the passenger side of a dark colored car, then fled the area. 
 
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 50 yoa, muscular build, approximately 5'10", crew cut (military style) salt and pepper hair and wearing a "valor" jacket (almost leather with some cloth) and dark jeans.

HCSO Detectives Want to Identify Suspects Breaking into Vehicles in Waterset Subdivision
January 30, 2018

STATUS: SOLVED
Between January 26, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. and January 27, 2018 at 9:46 a.m., unknown suspects entered several unlocked vehicles within the Waterset subdivision in Apollo Beach.  Witnesses and surveillance video identified two unknown black males who were seen in the neighborhood with a dark gray Nissan Altima following them.  During the burglaries the suspects obtained keys and took a 2012 Hyundai Sonata, black in color, bearing FL Air Force tag AJD5W.  The suspects used a stolen credit card taken from one of the vehicles at the Walmart in Wimauma to purchase a Play Station. 
 
The suspects are described as a black male, approximately 5;06", 200 lbs, last seen wearing a dark sweatshirt and jean shorts that are ripped.  The second suspect is a black male, approximately 18-20 yoa, 5'06", 200 lbs, last seen wearing a dark sweatshirt and tan shorts.

On December 18, 2017 at 4:05 p.m., an unknown white male attempted to cash a stolen check at the Center State Bank located at 1804 James L. Redman Parkway in Plant City.  The suspect used a fake identification card, which he left behind when the teller refused to cash the check.  The suspect has short dark hair with a gray spot on the top of his head and a small bump under his left eye.  The check was possibly stolen from a mailbox in Plant City.

On January 24, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. a white male entered the Winn Dixie located at 6400 Massachusettes Avenue in New Port Richey and approached an elderly female victim who was shopping.  The suspect forcefully took the victim's purse which she was holding at the time.  The suspect fled the store in an unknown direction with the victim's purse.  The suspect is described as a white male, between 30-40 yoa, black hair, wearing thick glasses and a black jacket and black jeans.

Tampa PD Detectives Investigate Robbery

On January 16, 2018 at approximately 9:34 p.m. an employee was attempting to close the Dollar Tree located at 5100 Florida Avenue North in Tampa when an unknown suspect walked up behind them and demanded money.  The suspect is described as a black male, tall, skinny, possibly young and wearing a dark camouflage ski mask, black or dark blue jogging suit with light blue in the upper half of the jacket and a long white stripe from shoulder to wrist on the outer portion of each sleeve.  The suspect appeared to be armed with a revolver.

PCPD Detectives Work to Identify Home Invasion Suspects

On January 15, 2018 at 1:30 a.m., two unknown suspects entered the residence at 2707 Barret Avenue in Plant City while armed with firearms.  The suspects are described as being white males in their 20's.  One suspect is 5'11", 200 lbs. and the other is 5'06" with a thin, muscular build.  The suspects took the victim's Buick Regal, which was recovered by law enforcement a short distance away about an hour after the robbery.  The suspects are believed to have been captured on area surveillance video riding bicycles just before the home invasion occurred.  A black and red Hyper BMX bicycle and a black Mongoose BMX bicycle were found abandoned at the scene.

On January 14, 2018 at approximately 11:08 am, an unknown black male entered the Sam's Club Liquor Store located at 27727 State Road 56 in Wesley Chapel and selected a variety of alcohol and cigarettes.  When the cashier turned to get cigarettes, the suspect said "don't make me have to hurt you" and moved his right hand towards his waistband.  The suspect said "I have to do this" and left the store with the merchandise.  The suspect is described as a black male, 35-40 yoa, approximately 6'-6'5', slim build, short hair and was wearing a black hat with a circular logo, a violet button up shirt, blue jeans, black coat and brown boots.  The suspect left the area in a white minivan, possibly a Kia Sedona with a gray bumper.
