On June 18, 2017 an unknown black male used a debit card owned by a 90 year old victim without her permission.  The card was used to make a cash withdrawal at the ATM located within the McDonald`s located at 501 MLK Boulevard East in Tampa.  The suspect is a black male, mid 30`s, 6`02", 225 lbs. and wearing a dark colored t-shirt and light pants.

Pasco Detectives Work to Identify 7-Eleven Robbery Suspect (2017/07/24)

On July 22, 2017 at approximately 11:28 pm, an unknown suspect entered the 7-Eleven located at 6001 Trouble Creek Road in New Port Richey while wearing a gray cloth type mask covering his face.  The suspect approached the cashier while brandishing a pocket knife and demanded money.  After receiving cash, the suspect fled north on Madison Street on a bicycle.  The suspect is described as a white male, late 20`s, light brown hair, possibly having red facial hair and wearing a light colored long sleeve under shirt with a dark colored t-shirt over it, dark pants, dark shoes and a green baseball hat with a white symbol on the front.

TPD Detectives Investigate Pizza Store Robbery (2017/07/07)

On July 6, 2017 at 10:13 pm, an unknown black male entered the Marco`s Pizza located at 4711 Gandy Boulevard West in Tampa with a blue shirt covering his face.  The suspect displayed a firearm and ordered the manager to open the safe.  The suspect was caught on surveillance video and is described as a black male, 5`10" to 6"0", 160-170 lbs., wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, black sneakers and a had an Air Jordan backpack on.  The suspect fled in an unknown direction with the cash.  Detectives believe this suspect may be responsible for a robbery that recently occurred at the Citgo located at 4702 Gandy Boulevard.

TPD Detectives Ask the Public for Information in Tampa Shooting (2017/07/07)

STATUS: WANTED

Update:  Detectives have issued a warrant for Dejonta Jerome Felder, B/M, 12/15/1994.

On July 3, 2017 at 1:25 pm, the victim and an unidentified subject engaged in an altercation in the street in the 3400 block of Phillips Street in Tampa.  At some point the suspect shot the victim multiple times.  The victim fled to the backyard of 3408 Phillips Street where he died as a result of the injuries he sustained.  The victim was identified as Julius R. Carter, 32 years of age.  Witnesses described the suspect as a black male, tall, approximately 6`0", 220 lbs., early 20`s and was seen fleeing the area in a gray 4-door vehicle.

New Port Richey Detectives Work to Identify Suspect Who Phoned in Bomb Threat (2017/07/07)

On June 29, 2017 a Bomb Threat was called in to the Publix located at 5127 US Highway 19, New Port Richey, within the Southgate Shopping Center.  The unknown male called the store and asked to speak to the District Manager reference a bomb being placed inside a store.  No suspicious packages were located at the store.  Through the investigation, detectives have developed a suspect who was caught on surveillance video at a difference Publix store filing a complaint earlier the same day while the subject made a return to the store.

On July 1, 2017 between 3:03 am and 4:23 am, an unknown suspect struck a pedestrian as he was crossing 2nd Avenue at 25th Street in Tampa.  The suspect fled the scene in an unknown make vehicle.  The victim was identified as Charles Edward Slater, 46 yoa.  Slater died as a result of the injuries he sustained.

PCPD Detectives Search for Suspect(s) Involved in Early Morning Shooting (2017/06/27)

On June 27, 2017 at approximately 1:43 am, unknown black male suspect(s) fired a high powered rifle from a vehicle as it drove by the residence of 516 Laura Street East in Plant City.  As a result of the shooting, a 49 yoa male sustained a gun shot wound to his leg and possible bullet fragment injuries to other parts of his body.  The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The vehicle observed leaving the scene was described as a newer model Hyundai 4-door sedan, possibly a Sonata, silver in color.

On June 19, 2017 at approximately 9:51 pm, an unknown male entered the Family Dollar located at 4900 40th Street North in Tampa while wearing a black mask covering his face.  The suspect pulled a gun from his waistband and pointed it at the clerk while demanding money.  The suspect was described as a black male, 5`10" to 6`0", 220-230 lbs., medium to dark complexion, having a high pitch voice and wearing a red hoodie, blue jean shorts, possibly blue plaid boxer shorts and black shoes with a white stripe.  The suspect fled with cash on foot toward Ellicott Street.

TPD Detectives Ask For Information in Homicide (2017/06/19)

On June 16, 2017 at 7:20 pm, officers responded to a call regarding shots being fired in the area of North 36th Street and East Shadowlawn Avenue in Tampa.  Officers discovered one person had sustained a gun shot wound and he was transported to a local hospital.  The victim who was identified as Antwan Tremaine Jenrette Jr., 12/08/1998, died as a result of the injuries he sustained.

HCSO Deputies Search for Robbery Suspect Who Was Stabbed (2017/06/19)

STATUS: SOLVED

On June 18, 2017 at 5:45 am, a black male entered the Sunoco located at 14516 22nd Street North in Tampa and demanded the money bag.  The suspect and the clerk became involved in a struggle over a baseball bat that was behind the counter.  The suspect was able to overpower the clerk and take the bat at which time the clerk stabbed the suspect in the abdomen.  The struggled continued until the clerk ran outside to alert deputies.  The suspect took a brown paper bag with cash from behind the counter and fled.

HCSO Detectives Work to Identify Suspects Using Stolen Credit Cards (2017/06/16)

On May 12, 2017 between 8:10 am and 10:15 am an unknown suspect(s) took the victim`s purse from her vehicle while it was parked at Florida Hospital located at 3100 Fletcher Avenue East in Tampa.  Shortly after, two black females and one black male were captured on store surveillance video using the stolen credit cards at several businesses in Temple Terrace. 

Suspect 1 - black female, 5`07, 150lbs., long black hair, possibly has a star tattoo on upper right chest and was wearing an orange halter top and white shorts.   Suspect 2 - black male, 5`07", 130lbs., short black hair and wearing jean shorts and a dark blue short and shoes.  Suspect 3 - black female, 5`06", 150lbs. and wearing a blue dress and a white hat.

On June 5, 2017 at approximately 4:30 pm an unknown male entered the Zales Diamond Store located within University Square Mall and asked the employee to see a gold necklace from a display case.  The suspect tried on the necklace valued at $1,690 then fled the store without paying.  The suspect is described as a white male, 22-29 yoa, approximately 180 lbs., medium build, short strawberry blond hair and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, jean shorts and black tennis shoes.

On June 11, 2017 at approximately 3:37 am, an unknown black male entered the Race Trac store located at 12750 Hillsborough Avenue West in Tampa while wearing a stocking over his face.  The suspect brandished a knife and demanded money.  The black male suspect was described as being 5`09" to 6`0" and was wearing a New York Yankees baseball cap with a camouflage brim, long sleeve gray shirt, black pants and sneakers.  After receiving cash from the registers the suspect fled the store.

On June 7, 2017 at approximately 4:06 am, an unknown suspect entered the residence at 628 Tuscanny Street in Brandon as well as a vehicle in the area.  The suspect is a white male, 5`06" to 5`08", medium build, tattoos on both shoulders that extend to the elbows and a Mohawk style haircut that is long and curly in the back.

HCSO Detectives Search for Stolen Boat (2017/06/09)

On May 26, 2017 at approximately 10:30 am, three unknown suspects took a 12 foot Tracker boat, Model 1236 Topper with a Motor Guide trolling motor, Model R3/X3, 38 Pound Thrust with two deep cycle marine batters, one five gallon marine fuel can and fishing tackle from 1025 Apollo Beach Boulevard.  The value of the stolen property is $1,358.  The suspects were caught on surveillance video and are described as black males, two between 25-30 yoa and one between 45-50 yoa.

Dade City PD Ask for Information from the Public in Hit and Run (2017/06/08)

On June 7, 2017 at approximately 3:00 p.m., near the intersection of US Highway 301 and Morningside Drive in Dade City, the driver of a newer model, dark burgundy vehicle, possibly a Chevrolet Impala, struck the victim`s vehicle which was exiting the Save-A-Lot parking lot.  As a result of the crash, the 76 year old female passenger was taken to the hospital.  According to witnesses, the driver was described as a black female, early 20`s, approximately 6`, thin build and was wearing a tan dress with stripes below the knee.  The suspect driver was seen checking her vehicle for damage, after which she returned to her vehicle.  The suspect then fled in an unknown direction after failing to exchange information.  The suspect vehicle may have damage to the front or grill area.
