Pasco Detectives Ask for Tips from the Public in New Year's Eve Shooting

On December 31, 2022, just before 2 a.m., a shooting occurred at The White Room, a bar located at 6472 Land O’ Lakes Blvd. in Land O’ Lakes. The unknown suspect was a patron at the establishment earlier in the evening and was asked to leave. The suspect returned later and fired several shots in the parking lot, striking an adult male once, which resulted in non-life threatening injuries.
 
The suspect is described as a white female, mid-twenties to early thirties, approx. 5’7” with a large build. She has medium length reddish-brown hair, pierced ears and a tattoo on her left arm of a dragonfly. The suspect drove northbound from the incident on Land O’ Lakes Blvd. in a dark gray Hyundai SUV.

HCSO Detectives Work to Identify Suspects Who Took 4 Paintings in Early Morning Burglary

On November 23, 2022 at 3:46 a.m., four (4) unknown suspects entered a property in the 9900 block of Surya Kiran Place in Tampa by jumping over a perimeter wall. The suspects entered the bedroom of a residence and took four (4) paintings. The paintings are of: Batman, V-Five, Mortal Kombat and Playstation, which are valued at approx. $2,800. At approx. 4:20 a.m., the suspects were seen fleeing the property the same manner they arrived. 
 
The suspects were captured on surveillance video and are described as:
Suspect 1: White Hispanic male, 5'10", 190lbs., wearing a green hooded sweat shirt with a logo, black jeans, and red vans.
Suspect 2: White Hispanic male, 5'9", 160lbs., wearing a brown hat, brown leather jacket, ripped blue jeans and orange/red shoes.
Suspect 3: Hispanic or Black male, 5'9", 180lbs., wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black face covering, blue jeans and white and black camo crocs. Suspect 4: White Hispanic male, 5'9", 175lbs., wearing a blue zip up hoodie, red face covering, black pants, white Puma slides and gray gloves.

Plant City Detectives Seek Tips from the Public in Early Morning Shooting
November 23, 2022

On November 19, 2022, the victim was outside his apartment building in the Madison Park Apartment complex on Village Park Road in Plant City. At approx. 2:00 a.m., he was shot by unknown suspect(s) and died as a result of the injuries he sustained. The victim was identified as Octavia "Tay" Canty Jr., 19 years old. A witness reported seeing a vehicle leaving the area at a high rate of speed.

HCSO Detectives Ask for Tips from the Public In Midnight Hit n Run
November 17, 2022

STATUS: OPEN
On November 12, 2022, shortly after midnight, an adult male pedestrian was walking in the roadway on Orient Road south of Zeimis Drive in Tampa. A vehicle traveling southbound struck the victim, knocking him into the northbound lane. The driver of a Dodge Neon stopped to render aid to the victim. An unknown make/model SUV, silver in color, was traveling southbound when the driver went around the stopped vehicles into the northbound lane. The vehicle struck the victim dragging him for a short distance. The suspect vehicle fled southbound toward Hillsborough Avenue then continued westbound. The victim died as a result of the injuries he sustained.
 
The suspect is described as a white male, possibly in his 40's, dirty blond hair that comes down to his ears, unshaven beard and last seen wearing a white tank top. The passenger is described as a white female, possibly in her 40's, heavy set (260lbs), brown hair below her shoulders and last seen wearing a white tank top. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a 2000-2010 silver Ford Explorer or Mercury Mountaineer.

FHP Troopers Seek Tips in Hit N' Run that Killed a Pedestrian

On October 30, 2022 at 10:35 p.m., the suspect vehicle was traveling northbound on Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, north of Legacy Boulevard, and collided with an adult male who was walking in the outside lane. The pedestrian victim died at the scene as a result of the injuries he sustained. The driver of the vehicle fled in an unknown direction after the crash. Vehicle parts were located at the crash scene which appear to match a Mazda sedan.

On October 21, 2022 at 3:55 a.m., several subjects were captured on surveillance video trying door handles to vehicles within the Tudor Cay Apartment Complex. The suspects found keys inside a vehicle and drove it to the Circle K located at 4501 Hillsborough Av. W. where they abandoned the vehicle. The suspects are described as black males and were last seen wearing dark clothing.

TPD Detectives Seek Tips to ID Suspect Who Killed Dog During Robbery

STATUS: SOLVED
Shortly before 7 p.m. on October 28, 2022, the victim was walking his two dachshunds in the 2600 block of W. Powhatan Avenue. An armed black male came up from behind him, pointed a gun and demanded money. The suspect shot at the dogs multiple times, hitting one of them. The victim took both dachshunds in his arms and ran in an attempt to get away when the suspect chased him and shot 2 more times.  
 
The suspect has been described as a thin black male, approx. 6'4", wearing a black hoodie, gray sweatpants and was last seen running eastbound on W. Powhatan Avenue. As a result of the suspect description, a sketch was completed.

HCSO Detectives Ask for Tips to Identify Suspect Who Damaged ATM

STATUS: OPEN
On October 16, 2022 at 11:45 p.m., inside Pete's Place North located at 8603 Dale Mabry Hwy N., an unknown suspect attempted to use the ATM. After putting his bank card into the machine numerous times, he became visibily upset that the cash he requested was not dispensed. He grabbed the side of the ATM and threw it onto the ground causing the machine to no longer be operational. The cost is $4,500 to replace the ATM. The suspect fled in a black Nissan Rogue.
 
The suspect was captured on surveillance video and is described as a Hispanic male, dark hair, goatee/full beard, tattoos on both arms, wearing a white tank shirt, jeans and white sneakers.
